  I may have set my expectations too high... On the positive side, they do offer frequent sales.

  1. When I applied it, it felt stickier than I expected, which wasn't to my liking (even this felt too heavy when my skin was extremely oily). 2. It didn't provide long-lasting hydration either. 3. Above all, the day after using this, my skin broke out badly and I suffered from folliculitis for two weeks. It could have been due to the included spray, but... I immediately passed it on to someone else. It seems to work well for others, so I guess it's a matter of finding the right fit for your skin type.

  Tip

  While it's quite pricey given the large quantity, you can purchase it for 15,000-17,000 won during Olive Young sales or at duty-free shops. If it doesn't suit you, it can be really disappointing... I'd suggest borrowing it from someone for a day to try it out first. Those who are likely to have a reaction will typically experience it within a day.

  Please, everyone, consider this review before making a purchase. There's not a single positive thing to say about this product. If I had to find something, I suppose it absorbs well due to its watery texture...

  Despite having dry skin, I've had a complexion that's been agreeable with all kinds of cosmetics for 30 years. Whether I used baby emulsion or functional skincare, my skin condition remained fairly consistent. I have the type of dry skin that can be managed with an extra layer of cream if needed. I was far from having sensitive skin. But truly, after using this product, for the first time in my life, I experienced my skin reacting badly - burning, tingling, and blemishes appearing. And this wasn't just for a day or two, but for about a month. Why did I let it go on for so long? Firstly, I didn't realize it was an adverse reaction to the product. I thought the burning and tingling were just because my skin was extremely dry, like when you apply emulsion to very dry skin. Secondly, I had changed several skincare products at the time, so I wanted to test each one to find the cause, which took time. If you're wondering why I changed so many at once, it's because I used to be that person who could apply anything without issues. My skin had always been resilient. But unbelievably, after using this, I experienced deep dryness, blemishes, dead skin cells, and emphasized pores. It even got worse over time! I tried discontinuing each of the new skincare products one by one, but nothing improved. I stopped this one last because it had good reviews, many people saw results, and it was such a famous product that I couldn't imagine it being the cause. But within just two days of stopping it, my symptoms improved. I regret the time and money wasted trying 7-8 different skincare products after becoming sensitized. To address any doubts about this being the cause, I can confidently say it was. During the testing period, I didn't introduce new products, I simply removed one product from my routine for a week at a time. Incredibly, just two days after stopping the Bioderma Hydrabio Essence Lotion, my symptoms started to improve. I realize now that I've been stressing myself out trying not to give up on this product. On one hand, it's frustrating to think I stressed for over a month because of this one product. Bioderma might not necessarily be good for all dry skin types. Please, if you're considering buying this, ask around. You probably know someone who uses it. Test it before buying. I almost wish I could gather everyone who wants to buy it and have them test it first. Really.

  I think my review itself might serve as a tip. If this doesn't suit your skin type, it's worse than just applying water.

  It's definitely moisturizing and does a good job at tackling deep dryness!

  1. The fragrance is way too strong. 2. I spent a long time wondering if my skin was acting up because of the changing seasons, but today I finally realized it's this product. Half of my face broke out with folliculitis and inflamed blemishes that won't come to a head. Ugh. Everyone else seems to love it, why am I the only one?

  At first, I liked how moisturizing it was, but it ended up absorbing all the oil and became the king of stickiness... Two family members who wanted to try it both turned away, saying it was too sticky and not great.

  Cons

  I have oily, sensitive skin, and just two days after using this, my face completely broke out with itching, swelling, enlarged pores, dryness, and a burning sensation, like hives. After looking it up on YouTube, it seems it might be due to the high concentration of niacinamide. It really doesn't suit me at all. I'm throwing it away immediately.
