The color payoff is absolutely amazing. Just apply a little, press your lips together, and gently dab the color to spread it evenly - it looks gorgeous! I prefer a natural look, so this method works perfectly for me. If you want a more intense color, you can apply it like a regular lipstick. The best part is that a little goes a long way due to its excellent pigmentation! The staying power is impressive too. As long as you don't apply it right after using lip balm or gloss, it stays on beautifully even after eating and gently blotting with a tissue. My lips tend to be a bit dry, so I usually apply this product on bare lips and then follow up with a light layer of lip balm for extra comfort. There's nothing really negative to say! The staying power is great! It's a deep, slightly cool-toned red. You can wear this alone without much eye makeup and still look put together. As it's a long-lasting pencil, make sure to apply lip balm and prep your lips beforehand to prevent it from emphasizing dead skin cells. For a sharpener... try buying a stationery one, it's cheaper. Look for Stabilo's thick colored pencil sharpener.
