The ingredients are surprisingly gentle for a drugstore product. At just over $10 for 6 shades, every color delivers excellent pigmentation without any duds. The white shade is matte - a true, honest white, though it might be challenging to use as a highlighter. The pink is shimmery with delicate silver and pink pearls - it's really pretty. The green is also shimmery, with finely dispersed gold and green pearls, giving it a fresh green apple hue. The blue is a matte, intense cobalt that packs a punch (though it can be a bit powdery). The yellow has a shimmery finish with silver pearls, giving it an egg-white like color payoff. The purple is shimmery, but the purple pearls are so fine and subtle that it almost feels matte.
ConsThe high pigmentation means there can be some powder kickup. Milani seems to have a love affair with gold packaging. From blushers to lipsticks to eyeshadow palettes - it's all gold everything! Word of advice: skip the included brush. Your skin will thank you for using something else. Maybe just keep it for show - it's prettier to look at than to use on your face.
