The exfoliation is definitely effective, and when I first use the toner by soaking a cotton pad, I feel a stinging sensation due to the disinfecting action. The more damaged the skin or prone to skin troubles, the more stinging it may feel. However, if I give it about a week or more of adaptation period and use it consistently, even minor skin troubles will decrease, and my pores and dead skin will be significantly reduced.

The Ahava-specific scent has a slightly pungent aroma, but it becomes tolerable with adaptation.

Exfoliating with cotton pads is convenient as it doesn't require additional cleansing.
