It just sits on the surface... When I used it before makeup, it felt very heavy, so I ended up using it only in the evenings instead of as a base.

It absorbs well and the skin texture becomes smoother. Whether it's catechin or polyphenol, the slightly astringent feeling on the skin is not too bothersome, so I use it as it is said to be good for the skin.
