  Pros

  I really liked how it applied evenly and felt moisturizing. The way it naturally evened out my skin tone was great too.

  Cons

  As someone with dry skin, it only feels hydrating when first applied. After a short while, I can feel the dryness setting in. It fades quickly, so I have to touch up my makeup often. My skin usually doesn't react to products, but this one has caused blemishes, and I'm struggling with it now.

  The staying power and adherence are excellent. When I apply it in the morning, it stays put all day long, except for a bit on my nose and forehead!

  Cons

  It's a bit drying and settles into the fine lines under my eyes. Those with dry skin should make sure to have a solid skincare routine as a base.

  Tip

  Using a damp beauty sponge or wedge puff spritzed with facial mist helps the product apply more smoothly and reduces settling into fine lines.

  I bought this tension cushion with high hopes, and it didn't disappoint! It has tiny shimmering particles that make your skin look incredibly radiant in sunlight. Plus, it definitely brightens and evens out your complexion.

  Cons

  It tends to emphasize dry patches and can look a bit patchy around the nose area. The shimmer transfers onto your hands, which might be bothersome for some. The coverage is somewhat lacking, which is a bit disappointing.

  Try spritzing some facial mist on the cushion before application for better results. Make sure to blend it down your neck too, as the brightening effect can make your face look disconnected from your body if you only apply it there.
