ConsWhile it may feel a bit stimulating to use for a long time, it doesn't seem like a good idea.

When I first used it, there was a slight stinging sensation, but since my friends said it was good, I just ignored it. However, my acne gradually decreased, and I was left with only the small pimples. I found the initial effects to be extremely effective, and I think I'm on my fourth bottle now.
ConsIf you apply it to the area under your eyes, it can sometimes cause a slight burning sensation and make your eyes water, so it's better to avoid that area. I personally didn't mind the scent, but a lot of people don't like it. If you use it for a while, the smell can become a bit unpleasant (that's how it was for me).
TipDon't apply it to your entire face, and try to avoid the area around your eyes as much as possible. It also leaves a slightly oily, shiny appearance, so it's best not to apply it right before going out.

It's great when your skin starts breaking out or when your skin is irritated. I bought a bottle at the duty-free shop to take with me on a trip abroad as an emergency product, and it was very effective when my skin reacted badly to the water.
ConsThe tea tree scent is very strong! And there's a stinging sensation, so you should be careful when applying it to sensitive areas around the nose and eyes. Also, those who have cats should be cautious!

When I first encountered this product, it was a real revelation! It's so incredibly effective, I was amazed it's not more well-known! Just a small amount applied to the hard, painful acne spots will make them subside within 2-3 days! While the alcohol and tea tree ingredients give a slight stinging sensation, my skin doesn't become red or irritated. I love it so much that I'm already on my second bottle... I feel anxious without it, like a must-have emergency item! As long as you use only a small amount on the affected areas, this product will last you a very long time!
ConsIt's completely ineffective for small whiteheads. At first I only used it for cystic acne and saw great results, so I started applying it to the whiteheads too, and ended up using it all over my face... Definitely too irritating to use all over (my skin is on the thinner side). Though tea tree works well for me, I kept applying it all over my face, but the whiteheads didn't go away and I even felt heat on my face... so I had to take away one star. Don't expect it to work on whiteheads, and don't use it all over your face. Just spot-treat the affected areas, like applying an ointment to a wound. It works great for cystic acne, red pimples, and those with pus - but only use it on those specific blemishes.
TipIf you want your acne to subside quickly, apply it frequently to just the affected areas! Spot-treating without covering your whole face prevents irritation and helps it calm down faster! And even if you apply it after popping a pimple, it won't cause further inflammation or worsening.

I applied it to the acne areas after cleansing my face every night, and I could really feel the difference the next day as the acne had calmed down!
ConsThe scent was a bit strong, and it felt a bit irritating when applied around the eyes and nose.

But at some point, as you can see in the photos, my skin became quite inflamed. I've been to multiple dermatologists, some of whom said it was seborrheic dermatitis, while others said it was contact dermatitis. I couldn't find the root cause, so I completely overhauled my skincare products, looking at the ingredients on Hwahae, and ended up purchasing this product. Even though I've only been using it for a week, my skin has been gradually improving. Since it's in an ointment form, I can just dab it on the problem areas with a cotton swab, and it seems to calm things down quickly (the effects do seem quite fast). It's also convenient to carry around in my bag and apply whenever sudden breakouts pop up. I'll leave an additional review after using it diligently for a month!
ConsThe scent is really, really strong. When I first applied it, there was a sharp, pungent smell that just hit my nose. And there was also a brief, warm, almost stinging sensation, like putting on a medicated patch. But don't worry, that sensation goes away quickly.
TipIn my case, I just apply toner or a soothing ampoule before bedtime, let it fully absorb, and then dab on this product with a cotton swab. At first, I wasn't sure if I should use it with my regular skincare routine or not, but I couldn't find clear instructions on that anywhere.
