First of all, the Maeil Moa design is so pretty... Looking at the case just puts me in a good mood.
ConsI did a quick test on the inside of my hand to see the color before applying it to my lips, and it was brighter than I expected... but it's not an extremely deep red, so I was a bit surprised! The lipstick in Jennie's pictorial looked really vivid and had a classic red vibe, but this one has a rather vibrant and mysterious feel to it. When viewed in slightly dimmer lighting, the color does come across a bit deeper, but it's not overwhelmingly bold and captivating either, so I was honestly a bit surprised. And the ingredients are not that great.

Although the lipstick was a gift and not a perfect match for my cool-toned skin, using it as an accent on the inner part of the lips creates a nice, glowing, and brightening effect. I occasionally use it, and the color is lovely! I think most autumn warm-toned people will really like it! 😊Cleansing😊 It's not exactly an advantage, but since it's a lipstick, it wipes off cleanly with a lip and eye remover.
Cons😭A bit common..?😭 With the proliferation of color cosmetics and the many red lipstick options at drugstores, I feel like the autumn warm-toned red has become a bit common. I haven't seen many moisturizing and creamy lipsticks, but there are a lot of matte crimson red shades, so I didn't really feel a sense of rarity in the color. Of course, there's no identical color under the sun, so there are differences. But since I prefer cool-toned color cosmetics, I didn't really feel a strong need to buy the Dior 999 matte lipstick, other than the classic Dior Rouge. The product itself is good, but... given the price range, I feel a bit ambiguous about it.
TipIf you're warm-toned, I'd recommend full-lip or toasted beige as a base color for autumn warm-toned people, and coral-colored base for spring warm-toned people, using this as an accent on the inner part. Please check the last picture combination, and I hope it's helpful! (It's a pity that the color in the 'Before Sunset' picture didn't capture the warmth well.)

But this lipstick was just the perfect red I was looking for. 🌼The color payoff is great, and the texture starts off creamy but gradually becomes more matte. 🌼The staying power is also decent - even after eating, the color doesn't just disappear and leave an unsightly lip line. Unlike MAC's Ruby Woo, which can get patchy after a meal, this lipstick doesn't wear off unevenly.
Cons🌸The adhesion isn't the best - if you have dry, flaky lips, the lipstick can cling to the rough patches. 🌸If you don't apply it carefully, it can also emphasize fine lines and make you look older. While this is the perfect red I was searching for, I'll have to be cautious when wearing it to avoid an aging effect.
TipMixing this with MAC's Powder Kiss lipstick in Devoted Chili works really nicely!
