Pros
I bought this lipstick when I was deeply immersed in coral pink. The color is a subtle blend of coral and pink, making it a versatile shade. Pros
I had high expectations and bought the popular sexy coral color from Ellotte for around 30,000 won. I was so happy while waiting for it to arrive. The color is beautiful, and the application is great! At the store, it looked more orange-leaning coral, but when I applied it at home, it turned out to be more pink!! It has a grapefruit-like tone - very juicy and vibrant. The swatch on the back of my hand showed more red and orange, but on my lips, the red completely disappeared and the orange also faded significantly, leaving a strong pink tone. Wow, it's a powerful fluorescent pink with a hint of orange (crimson). The texture glides on smoothly - not matte at all, but not quite a fried lip look either (like Innisfree lipsticks or MAC Lustres). Compared to MAC Lustres, it's a bit less fried-looking, which is a relief. When I apply it and let it sit for a while before removing, it leaves a pretty stain on my lips. The pink stain is unavoidable, but it doesn't look unsightly. The color is beautiful, it doesn't emphasize wrinkles much, and it doesn't have the glittery bits that I dislike. If you were expecting a super sexy coral, this is more on the popular and fresh side rather than a fatal sexy vibe. I wrote that I liked it, but the cons I mentioned make it sound like I'm an anti-fan. I'll have to consider repurchasing it later, depending on my wallet. Hmm... It was a very famous product. I purchased it after searching for it at the duty-free shop. This was my first time using a Guerlain lipstick, and I liked that it wasn't too matte or too soft. The color payoff was also quite good.
Cons
The color name is 'Sexy Coral', but I'm not sure if it's really that sexy... The color seems rather ordinary.
