As expected, the pigmentation of MAC eyeshadows is beyond words! High color payoff and excellent adherence! I personally prefer simple, subtle eye makeup, and this shade is perfect for those who enjoy that style. It's slightly more saturated than 'Soba', giving a healthier, more vibrant look to your complexion! Being a matte formula, the sales associate mentioned it might shatter if dropped (though I haven't experienced any breakage myself). You can use this to fill in your eyebrows and even draw eyeliner! - yu********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 31, 2018
Cork shade The color payoff is great! It seems perfect for blending eyeliner~ Cork shade The color doesn't seem to suit my complexion, so I end up not using it - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 3, 2017
Since Cork Single isn't listed here, I'm leaving my review. As a Summer Cool Mute tone who doesn't suit Soba, I overheard my boyfriend saying he'd add a MAC eyeshadow to my birthday gift. When I said 'Get the most popular one!', I feared he might buy Soba. Thankfully, he thoughtfully chose a brown shadow that suits me. How sweet of him! Though it's not a perfect match for my complexion, it's more versatile than my usual base shadows. It's smaller and more pigmented, so it's influenced by the base color. Honestly, it's a contour shadow that would work well for most people regardless of skin tone. If you're clueless about which contour shadow to buy that'll make you look like a makeup pro, I'd recommend Cork without hesitation. I'm finding it incredibly useful! There's minimal excess, and I hardly noticed any glitter fallout. As for smudging or longevity, I always use an eye primer, so I didn't experience any issues. Overall, I'm satisfied, so there's nothing I found disappointing. - 12*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDec 3, 2016
Why isn't the Cork Single Shadow listed? This is perfect for those who want a deeper contour than Soba! It's a warm brown with about 5% pink added - a shade you might see anywhere, but it's far from ordinary! It's that shadow that gives a natural and beautiful contour to your eye corners! I'd recommend this to anyone who finds Soba a bit too light and yellow. If you want to say 'I've applied a brown-brown eyeshadow for that subtle shadowy effect,' without being too obvious, this is your go-to. There's absolutely no excess powder fallout. While there's no powder fallout, it's a shadow that applies color beautifully with a creamy texture. You can adjust the intensity of the contour by applying it lightly or heavily, depending on how much depth you want to create. The photo makes it look cement-colored, but it's not actually that gray in real life.
