In that case, it would be more hygienic to portion it out into a separate container before using, rather than dipping wet hands directly into the jar. That's a good tip to keep in mind.

 I'm not sure if I can really call it "packaging," but when I opened the lid, there was a thin, round plastic cover that was tightly attached to the cream. I didn't even realize it was there at first and thought the cream had just hardened over time. When I tried to use it, I was surprised by the plastic feeling. Plus, the plastic cover they put on top was smaller than the opening, so it was leaking from the sides. Haha...

Minimal Effectiveness
They named it a "pore cleansing" product, but the effects weren't that noticeable. I haven't used it much yet, so that could be the reason, but really good products tend to make your skin noticeably better after just one use, so I wouldn't say the effects were that great.

Fragrance
It has a chemical smell, like the typical "mom's makeup" scent. The fragrance was quite strong when I applied it to my face, which I didn't like.

Texture
The texture is a thin, watery cream, not the soft, velvety cream I was expecting. It has a powdery, smooth feel when you touch it, but it's not as rich as I hoped.

Jar Packaging
Since it's a jar product, it's not very hygienic. But they do have a tube version, which would be better, though more expensive. You'd have to weigh the pros and cons.

Also, this isn't a product flaw, but a characteristic of buying from the Etude House website - they use paper tape to make it look eco-friendly, but inside it's not really environmentally friendly, with the hard paper bottom and non-tear plastic wrap. It would be great if they could make the inner packaging more eco-friendly as well.

 If you have time, it's worth reading the TMI: Etude House had an event where if you bought items totaling over 5,000 won each, they would fill in one square. I bought some, but some were under 5,000 won, so they didn't fill those in. I had calculated everything, but they still didn't fill them in. So lately I haven't been buying much from Etude House, but I can't throw away what I've already bought, and returning it would just cost shipping fees, so I just used it. There wasn't really any good point to it. But I bought this not long ago, so why was it discontinued?? I think I bought it around April or May on their website... Anyway, if I had to point out a good point,

it's the large size - 180g, which is large for a cleansing product. Even using just a fingernail's worth, it lathers up, so using a little at a time, it will last around 3 months.
