  Pros

  I have combination dehydrated skin. The absorption is top-notch. It seems great for oily skin types to use in their skincare routine. I personally use it 2-3 times during the toner step.

  Cons

  Despite being an essence toner, it leaves my skin feeling very tight after application. You need to apply it two or three times. As for the brightening effect... there isn't any.

  Pros

  As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I usually dislike products that are too oily, heavy, or suffocating. However, this toner is fantastic! It has a runny texture that's lightweight and absorbs instantly upon application, which I love!

  Cons

  Given my combination dehydrated skin, I found that this toner didn't quite address my deep dryness. After applying just once, I still felt a bit of inner dryness. Also, the scent isn't particularly pleasant.

  Tip

  If you layer the toner multiple times, allowing each layer to absorb, it really hydrates deep down without feeling heavy or suffocating!

  Pros

  At first, I only bought the Return Cream, but it came with a free toner. I just started using it, and now I'm on my third bottle... haha! While the Return Cream feels too heavy in summer, the toner is absolutely amazing. It works well year-round, absorbs well, and helps calm blemishes. Compared to the cream, it doesn't leave my skin feeling as rich, and after it absorbs, my skin feels incredibly smooth.

  Cons

  It doesn't make blemishes disappear overnight as I had hoped. It takes about two weeks of use to see a calming effect.

  Tip

  It's best to apply it twice a day for optimal results.

  Pros

  I had a skin analysis done through Hwahae's industry-academic collaboration. The results showed that my skin was slightly lacking in both oil and moisture balance. Originally, I had combination skin with an oily T-zone and dry U-zone, so I was worried my skin condition might have changed. Luckily, I received a generous sample of the Madecera Essence Toner with my sunscreen purchase, which came at the perfect time to try out. It absorbs incredibly fast - just one application and it's gone! A few gentle pats and it disappears into the skin like magic. I don't usually do multi-step skincare routines, but because this absorbs so quickly, I feel like one layer isn't enough for sufficient hydration, so I end up applying it 2-3 times minimum. This leaves my skin feeling deeply moisturized on the inside and slightly powdery on the surface. I also love that the toner's opening is narrow, making it easy to control the amount. My skin condition has improved dramatically recently. In summer, this might be enough on its own, but now I'm using it alongside Sidmool Madagascar Moisture Cream. I can even use less of the cream and still feel adequately hydrated. Quick review: A must-click purchase for those with imbalanced oil and moisture levels!

  Cons

  The full-size product is a bit pricey! Maybe because it's a toner and essence in one, but I'm still buying it.

  Adjust the amount and reapply several times based on your skin's needs.
