  Lancôme's Absolue line lipsticks are fantastic! Even the matte ones absorb beautifully and deliver incredibly vibrant color. As someone with lips prone to dead skin cells, I'm always reaching for lip balm, but with these, I don't have to worry about flaky lips at all!

  Cons

  This is a powerful cool-toned shade. As a beauty advisor, I experiment with various makeup looks, but this lipstick only suits those with very fair skin. While it's a popular color that many ask about, I find it difficult to recommend widely.

  This 378 Lily Rose color is famous for being a celebrity favorite! While it's a great lip color for summer, I personally recommend it as a cool-toned lip perfect for autumn, rather than a warm-toned fall lip. It's especially stunning on those with fair skin. The staying power is top-notch and it absorbs beautifully! Although it's described as a matte texture, it applies smoothly and has a matte finish. It works hard to give you that perfect look!

  It's a shame that this color might look a bit awkward on those with warm undertones... The difference in complexion can be frustrating. I wish I could use warm-toned lip colors too!

  Tip

  You can use it as a base for gradient lips, but personally, I find it looks even more beautiful when applied as a full lip color.

  First off, my complexion is a light summer cool tone. Since Lily Rose is marketed as a cool-toned lipstick, I decided to try it out and leave a review, even though I'm a bit late to the party while everyone else was grabbing Suzy Coral. The best part? The color payoff is absolutely artistic. As a cool-toned gal, I'm head over heels for fuchsia pink and have tried countless varieties. This one's vibrant azalea shade is stunning, and the pigmentation is top-notch! For a matte lipstick, it also applies surprisingly smoothly. I've had quite a few friends ask about my lipstick color, saying how beautiful it is.

  Cons

  Being a matte lipstick, it does tend to highlight dead skin cells on the lips. It's the classic lipstick dilemma - if the color payoff is good, the matte finish accentuates flaky skin. If it's smooth and applies well, the pigmentation tends to be weak. It's a struggle most lipsticks face. That said, for a matte lipstick, Lancôme's Lily Rose does have a nice application. Hmm... These days, with so many great products available at good prices in drugstores and online shops, the department store price tag might be a bit of a drawback.

  Tip

  If you're price-conscious, I highly recommend checking duty-free shops. Also, applying a lip balm before the lipstick can help reduce concerns about highlighting dead skin cells to some extent.

  1. The application is no joke - it glides on smoothly even though it's matte, reminiscent of Lancôme's unique texture. 2. The staying power is truly impressive. 3. The scent is pleasant. 4. The case is beautiful and unique. 5. Many celebrities use it like Chae Soo-bin, Kim Hee-sun, Kim Go-eun, Jeon Hye-bin, etc. The colors are absolutely stunning. 6. You get a generous amount of product. 7. It doesn't crease and adheres well to the skin.

  Cons

  I'm warm-toned, but I bought it anyway. As expected, it seems it would look best on cool-toned skin. I use it in small amounts for a gradient effect. However, when fully applied, it somewhat suits even a strong warm tone like my 23-24 shade. But I couldn't go out with such an intense application... haha

  Tip

  It's somewhat hydrating. The third swatch shows the actual color. Recommended for cool skin tones.

  The gorgeous hot pink color is absolutely stunning! This lipstick truly makes you feel like you've turned on a fluorescent light for your face.   The price...? I received it as a gift and I'd love to repurchase when I finish it, but my wallet might be a bit nervous when that time comes.
