Before using the Hwahae app, I had no idea there were so many harmful ingredients in cosmetics. The jar packaging is inconvenient - having to use the included spoon every time, and the case design is quite cumbersome. I suppose it's designed that way to prevent the formula from spoiling, but it's a bit disappointing. The cleansing effectiveness is mild, so it's great as a gentle face wash in the morning and evening instead of soap. On days when I wear makeup, I use cleansing water to remove it first, then finish with this for a soft cleanse. Just make sure to thoroughly remove makeup with cleansing water beforehand. It seems gentle enough... I'd say it's decent to use. Opening the lid is incredibly difficult. I feel like I might hurt my hand just trying to cleanse my face!
