It's expensive. I live in the US and buy it through Walmart. I wouldn't recommend purchasing from Ulta or the Dermalogica website.

It has a primer-like feel. When applied as the final step after your basic emulsion in the morning, it helps makeup adhere well. Used as the last step at night, it keeps skin hydrated until morning. Though pricey, without it, it feels like your emulsion just evaporates.
