To be honest, I didn't really notice any major downsides. I've been using it well in various ways.

I'm very satisfied with this base lip product. Since it's from MAC, the price range is also reasonable.

It looks beautiful even if you apply a matte base and apply the tint inside. I alternate between this product and the Etude Fixing Tint, and on days when my lips have less peeling, I use this product. The color payoff is definitely what I want, and just swiping it straight on my cheeks and tapping it with my fingers is enough without the need for separate blush application. The expression was so intense that I felt it was truly mine. Please don't discontinue this.
