It has a slight moisturizing effect, but it has a matte finish for oily skin types. ConsRecommendedI have dry skin and it does not provide enough moisture when layered. I used the bottle daily and it did not help with facial redness. The bottle leaks from the opening and the product spills out, wasting the product.
