This was my first brightening moisturizer. I trusted it because it was marketed as a whitening cream for children. It evened out my skin tone and kept my skin hydrated. Unfortunately, it didn't have great staying power. Overall, the product's effectiveness wasn't particularly impressive. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 2, 2019
I'm not sure about the moisturizing effect, but I used it for its whitening power. It leaves my skin feeling soft and nice. When I apply it at night before bed, it can cause blemishes due to its whitening properties. I bought this when I was in 4th or 5th grade, and now I can't even understand why I purchased it back then. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJan 14, 2019
When you open the jar, there's a cover inside. When you close it, a tiny bit of cream squeezes out. This makes it easy to control the amount you use. The cream feels wonderfully hydrating when applied. It comes out too white, and the packaging is excessive. You can see this if you twist open the bottom of the container. You really need to apply just a tiny amount, or it can make your skin look extremely pale. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 29, 2018
I like it! It brightens my skin (but you need to apply it consistently). It might not be great for very dry skin. I have dry skin and it's a bit... hmm... Keep applying it regularly and you'll see your skin brightening effect go up and up! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 24, 2018
With consistent use, my skin has become brighter. It's great as a hydrating moisturizer. It seems a bit pricey. I think it would be even better if the price came down a little. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 1, 2018
I bought this hoping to brighten my complexion, and it worked out pretty well for me. While it didn't dramatically transform my skin, it was light enough to apply without feeling burdensome. Perhaps because I had high expectations for skin brightening, I was a bit disappointed that the whitening effect wasn't more noticeable. I wish it had made my skin tone a bit more even. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 22, 2017
It's affordable and brightens my skin, perfect for applying at school. Love it! It's challenging to test since The Day Girl stores are not widely available. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinOct 2, 2017
For elementary school students, I recommend applying just a light tint over this. It brightens the skin nicely and has decent ingredients. There's only one fragrance listed at the end of the ingredient list, which would be perfect if removed. For middle and high school students like me, the effects might be subtle, leaving you wondering if it's actually brightening your complexion or not. I personally use it like a hydrating moisturizer in the evening. Just slather it on generously like a hydrating moisturizer. Don't be stingy, or you'll regret it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAug 23, 2017
The volume is quite generous, and the brightening effect isn't too intense, so I used it frequently. I have sensitive skin, but this isn't due to that. I've used a similar brightening moisturizer before, and it was almost identical. However, after using this one for about two weeks, it became sticky and more runny, making it uncomfortable to use. (For reference, I'm using this as a substitute since I ran out of my usual brightening moisturizer.) Apply it generously all over your face before bed, and wake up to plump, dewy skin the next morning! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAug 8, 2017
It absorbs well, provides hydration, and feels gentle and moisturizing, which is great. I think it could work for all skin types - dry, oily, sensitive, or combination (just my personal opinion). It gives a slight brightening effect, so it's perfect for quick trips to the store or convenience store. It's also useful for a no-makeup look or a sheer makeup base. The price isn't particularly cheap, and I'm not sure about the quantity - whether it's a lot or a little. I'm also uncertain about how well it actually brightens the skin.
