The formula feels like a moisturizing lip lacquer, which I loved because it applies smoothly with great color payoff. I also appreciated the black and transparent packaging that showcases the color instantly, giving it a luxurious feel. When applied to my lips, it appeared more whitish than when swatched on the back of my hand. The color is a mix of coral, pink, and beige, which was a bit challenging to wear on its own. When I pressed my lips together, it felt quite oily, and the product sat on top of my lips, leading to significant transfer. Despite the transfer, it didn't leave a stain, resulting in poor longevity. Additionally, the black cap easily collected dust and became sticky, making it difficult to maintain. Wiping it with a wet wipe didn't help, and while rubbing it vigorously with an alcohol pad reduced the stickiness, it changed the matte black finish to a glossy one. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAug 26, 2020
The application is fantastic! It glides on smoothly and effortlessly. And as it's such a renowned shade, the more you apply it, the more you fall in love with the color. If you apply it even slightly too thick, it can feel a bit cakey and sticky, so you need to be careful with the amount you use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 28, 2019
It applies smoothly with a lovely moisturizing feel. The color is absolutely gorgeous, giving a lip gloss effect with a matte finish. The staying power isn't great, and it applies a bit unevenly. It has an oily texture that tends to settle into lip lines, emphasizing them. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 16, 2019
This is my absolute favorite product! The color is gorgeous and it absorbs beautifully. I'm 100% going to repurchase. There's nothing bad to say about it, absolutely nothing! - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 17, 2018
It absorbs beautifully and comes in a pretty case. The fragrance is lovely, and it applies so smoothly that it lifts my mood every time I use it. I bought this thinking the color would be delicately pretty, but when I apply it, I end up looking like a ghost! So now I use it as a base and blend it with darker shades for a gradient effect. It's not particularly sticky, but it does transfer a bit. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 4, 2017
The application is very smooth, like a lip gloss. The case is also really cute. As for the lasting power, I'm not too sure. When applied, it feels like a gloss, but when you look at it, it has more of a lipstick-like matte finish. The applicator is really soft and nice. You can check the color in the photos. I'm a warm-toned autumn and I'm using shade 23, which is a nude peach or nude coral color, and I really like it. It also works well as a base for ombre lips. I'm a big fan of matte lips, so I liked the matte-like finish, but even though it applies moisturized, after about 30 minutes, my lips start to feel a bit dry and tight. I've tried a lot of matte lipsticks, and this is the first time I've experienced this level of dryness, even though it doesn't show as much on the surface. Personally, the lasting power isn't as good as the MAC Retro, but it doesn't emphasize flaky lips as much. This is a great lip product that doesn't leave a white cast, but if you're looking for a color that does leave a white cast, I'd recommend the MAC Retro line, either Rich & Restless or Mango Mango. If you want something without the white cast, this one is a good option. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 7, 2017
The formula glides on smoothly and doesn't completely wear off over time, though there is some emphasis on dry patches. The texture and application are top-notch. It applies lightly and seamlessly with any makeup, making it incredibly versatile. When you're unsure what to wear, just grab this one and go! The longevity isn't particularly long-lasting. While it has a velvety appearance, it's not a fully matte product, so there is some transfer.
