  Pros

  As the name 'Cool' suggests, it does have a brightening effect. When applied to the skin, it feels refreshing and hydrating.

  Cons

  To put it nicely, it's supposed to brighten, but honestly, I felt it gave more of a grayish tint. Unless you have very fair skin, I'd recommend using the Natural Beige shade or looking for a different product altogether. While it's hydrating, it also transfers easily, wipes off, and doesn't seem to provide much coverage. It spreads thinly and evenly, but ends up looking like the makeup is sitting on top of the skin rather than blending in.

  Tip

  If possible, try to borrow and test a friend's product before purchasing. It seems the satisfaction level varies greatly from person to person.

  Pros

  It's rare to find a cool-toned shade 23, so I was pleased with the diverse color range. The ingredients are excellent - even though it's a cushion foundation, there are no pore-clogging components. That's why I bought it, despite not usually using cushions. The coverage is absolutely fantastic. The particles are very fine, allowing for great adherence to the skin. It has a powder-fresh finish, and the price is reasonable.

  Cons

  Despite being shade 23, it's extremely light - almost like a 21. Like most cushion foundations, it applies quite thick, but this can be resolved by changing the puff. The longevity and wear aren't great. The case looks outdated and isn't compatible with other cushions. I expected it to be more hydrating, but it's less moisturizing than anticipated.

  Tip

  Since most cushion foundations tend to apply thickly and have poor adherence, it's best to use the included puff just to place the product on your face. Then, pat it in with a sponge for a much more beautiful finish.
