  Pros

  I used to use other lip products, but then I developed a lip allergy and was suffering for about a week. In the end, I opened my wallet and bought this one. Surprisingly, it doesn't feel heavy on my lips at all, and it has a slightly velvety feel rather than a matte finish.

  Pros

  I really love the texture of the Liptensity, so I bought Havana after it! It's not matte, but it's not too dewy either - it has a nice, bouncy texture. The longevity is good, and you can mix the different Liptensity shades without compromising the texture, which is great. When I apply it, my lips feel comfortable and I just want to keep smacking my lips together! Haha I also really like the packaging, and the new Brick Dust shade has been catching my eye too.

  Cons

  I was worried about it emphasizing flaky skin, but it's not too bad. Compared to Peripera, it's actually pretty good. And some of my other department store lipsticks also emphasize flakiness depending on the shade, so I wouldn't consider it a dealbreaker.

  It was described as a bright rose brown, but it has a bit of a whitish cast to the brown color. I was diagnosed as a 23 Autumn Mute, and while this lipstick alone doesn't make me look washed out, it feels like it needs a bit more depth of color. So I like to apply the Liptensity Havana in the center and smack my lips together - it looks so pretty! It's a holy grail for me. If you find the Smoked Almond a bit lacking, I'd recommend trying this combo. You could also mix it with a non-matte burgundy lipstick like Revlon 525 - it looks really nice when layered. It's great on its own, but I think it looks even better when mixed with other shades.

  The color is absolutely gorgeous! I wanted something with a warm autumn tone and a hint of brown, and the sales associate recommended this color - it's perfect! If you apply it all over and then use a lip brush to create a gradient effect on the inner lips, it looks even more beautiful! The only downside is that the longevity could have been a bit better - since I tend to eat messily, it wears off completely after meals. But it's not overly matte, so it never emphasizes any dry patches on my lips.
