MAC Lipstick (Banging Brilliant) [Dream Pot]

The color payoff is exactly as it appears, which surprised me a bit, but it's still pretty haha. However, the color doesn't quite suit me, so I use it for makeup or mix it with other products. Actually, it seems like a good one to collect.

The color doesn't apply as evenly as it should, I'd say. There's a bit of patchiness when I apply it to my lips, and the more I layer it, the more it feels like it's sliding around. I suppose it can vary from person to person, but that's been my experience. It also really emphasizes the lines on my lips, and I only wear matte lipsticks, so this is the first time I've had this issue.

I've wanted this for a few months, and I received it as a Christmas gift. I don't know who would wear this, but I bought it because the color is pretty, even though I know I can't pull it off. It's matte, with a slightly dewy finish underneath the matte layer. The color is so vibrant that it makes you the center of attention when you wear it. I think this color would suit me well. I like to play dress-up as a high fashion model by myself.

Unless you're the kind of person who can confidently walk around after scamming the entire nation, you absolutely cannot pull off this color. The issue isn't the color itself, but when you wear it without lip balm, it looks fine at first, but after a few hours, the lip line starts to bleed and it settles into the lip wrinkles. Besides that, when you eat or drink, the blue color transfers and looks really awkward. In the same Banila Brilliant line, the Designer Blue mixes with red lips to create a purple color, but this one just looks like a bruised lip color when mixed. I have the Lady Danger at home, and when I tried mixing them, it just looked like I had been chain-smoking and my lips were dead.

You have to apply it really heavily to make it look somewhat decent.
