  Pros

  This essence is packed with a ton of product, but it's a transparent gel (texture similar to a slightly firm aloe gel) that doesn't feel too rich, so it's not overwhelming. Even with my super sensitive skin, it doesn't cause any blemishes, and the next day my skin feels so supple and bouncy... The intense hydration seems to have a great calming effect. It really helps reduce whiteheads and small blemishes. Right after use, my skin looks like glass. The texture of the essence might be hit or miss depending on the person, but I personally love it.

  Cons

  My boyfriend also has super sensitive skin, but he said it stung a bit in some areas. Also, since his skin type is closer to dry and this isn't exactly an oil-based mask, the hydration seems to evaporate a bit faster for him than it does for me.

  Tip

  Since there's a lot of essence and the particles are large, it's good to apply the essence under a device that prevents evaporation, like a rubber mask. This helps it absorb into the skin faster and works even better.
