The hydration is truly excellent. Even though it contains oil, it keeps the skin moisturized and effectively addresses deep dryness, which not all products can do. I especially love how it eliminates the tightness in my smile lines after cleansing. While it's an oil serum and feels a bit rich on finish, it's surprisingly clean in terms of application and how the skin feels afterwards, considering its oil content. As expected from an oil serum, it has a strong oil presence - even more than I anticipated. It feels slightly heavier than applying pure oil, which can be a bit uncomfortable. There's also a slight sticky feeling after application. Great for combination skin during the drying winter months. It balances my T-zone, which tends to get oily, without being too greasy while still tackling dryness. There's nothing I dislike about it. I'll definitely repurchase it for use every winter. When applied in the morning before makeup, it doesn't cause any pilling and helps makeup adhere well. I'm satisfied that it also helps control dead skin cells that tend to appear in winter.
