Like many others, I have some gripes about this palette. The velvet case is nice, but the price has gone up - I paid $50 CAD for it, and now it's $60. In my opinion, this brand used to be really popular in North America, but it doesn't seem as sought-after these days.

I first purchased this palette when it was first released in 2016. To be honest, I wasn't very interested in it at the time because the shades were quite deep in color. But then the palette blew up on YouTube, and I impulsively bought it out of curiosity.
 
First of all, the color payoff is insane, so I only need the tiniest amount for my eye makeup. It has a lot of fallout, and the shadows don't apply as smoothly and evenly as I'd like - they tend to look a bit patchy. Aside from the purple-toned shades, the topper shade, the matte black, and the champagne color, the palette is quite warm-toned overall. At first, I was too intimidated to use the purple shades (and the orange-y pumpkin color too..), but after 6 years of using this palette, I've gotten the hang of it and now I like to mix the deep brown shade with my eyeliner.

There's a very fatal flaw.
The shelf life is 6 months.. a really short and thick 6 months.
I'm the kind of person who strictly follows expiration dates, so I let it go without regret, but I still remember it vividly.
I wish there was a more affordable version.

The pigmentation was too strong, making it difficult to control the color. Also, the velvet case tends to stain easily, which is disappointing.

The pigmentation is excellent.. The colors are suitable for daily use and also good for accents. There are also some nice red shades that are versatile. The shimmery eyeshadows are great for adding highlights.

The stored brush is a bit thick, so it can be a bit inconvenient to use.

The pigmentation is amazing! You don't even need an eye primer, and the staying power is great. It's easy to blend, and it works well for both warm and cool skin tones. The pigmentation is so good that I recommend just tapping on a small amount.

Except for the poor quality of the brush included in the palette and the powder fallout, it's good.

It has excellent spreadability and the color composition is diverse, so it's great for using without worry even for flashy party makeup.

Built-in Brush: One side of the brush is decent, but the blending brush side is quite poor... I'd recommend not using that part.

Purchase Location: I bought mine from Sephora when I was living abroad. Getting it in Korea is definitely much more expensive and difficult. Anastasia, please come to Korea!

Pigmentation: The pigmentation is exceptionally strong, surpassing any other eyeshadow. The color payoff is true to the pan and applies vividly on the skin!

Blending: It blends smoothly without any stiffness. It's effortless to diffuse the edges, and you can mix the shades without any cakiness or unevenness.

Fallout: Highly pigmented eyeshadows often come with fallout, and this palette is no exception. However, the matte shades are the main culprits, while the shimmery ones have relatively less fallout.

Adhesion & Longevity: The shadows adhere closely to the skin. Especially the shimmery shades apply smoothly and lock in place. Using a primer enhances the longevity even further!

Color Selection: This palette was a game-changer when it launched in 2016, as it expanded the eyeshadow palette market beyond just brown tones. It encompasses a range from rusty oranges to burgundies and pinks, offering both wearable, toned-down colors and vibrant, distinctive shades. The color selection is truly impeccable.

There is a lot of fallout, so I dab it on the back of my hand before applying.
(But the color payoff is still great)

Compared to just looking at it, the color payoff is so beautiful when applied.
The shimmer and non-shimmer shades are evenly distributed, and the color payoff is excellent.
Despite having more fallout than the Urban Decay palette, I actually end up using it more because the color selection is better.

Some people say the built-in brush is not great, but I find that using the less dense parts of the brush to sweep the entire eyeshadow helps it apply evenly and without clumping, even though the eyeshadow is highly pigmented.

I bought it from Sephora in the US, but it seems inconvenient to have to directly import it if I want to purchase it in Korea.

The pigmentation is amazing! I don't think I've seen a matte eyeshadow with more vivid color and better application than this one. The colors are also great to use - they look stunning!💜

The color payoff of the Love Letter shades isn't great, and the velvet case material means once it starts getting dirty, it's hard to stop.

It's usually just full of brown-toned shadows, but this has an uncommon and pretty main focus on orange and purple. The color payoff is also nicely smooth and blendable.

The price is reasonable (by my standards), the color combination is also very nice, and the durability and pigmentation are really amazing...it's truly the best. The built-in brush (for a built-in brush, the quality is really good) allows me to just lightly dab it on with my hand and it turns out perfectly. I've tried quite a few drugstore and especially department store brand shadows, but this is the best one I can say. It's a holy grail item for me. I'll buy it again if I run out or lose it.
