  I bought it because it's pretty... To be honest, I didn't have much thought beyond it being pretty. I found myself reaching for my card without even realizing it. The color itself is red, but it's not a warm, cozy red. It's a classic red shade! It also has a subtle rose scent.

  Those who are already familiar with it may just shrug it off, but the color payoff isn't as vivid as you might expect. Those who love liquid lipsticks or lacquer-type products may feel frustrated at how much you have to apply to get the color to show up. Of course, that's part of the natural finish you get with it. The original brush felt like a little bug was sitting on your lips, but this brush seems to have been improved and thickened up. However, it still feels a bit itchy. The limited edition version is more like the itch you get after removing the bug's front legs. I wish there was a tip applicator... I thought they had improved it, so I bought it thinking it wouldn't be itchy, but it really does feel scratchy. As for the longevity, it's... not great.
