It's similar to the color of sweet potato skin! It contains gold shimmer with fairly large particles, but once applied to the face, it's not as overwhelming as you might think. The staying power is incredible, and the color payoff is absolutely amazing. When applied to the outer cheekbones, it gives a mature and sophisticated look. It's especially stunning when used as an eyeshadow - truly beautiful! Thanks to the shimmer, it doesn't look dull, and just applying this alone on the eyes is enough to create a gorgeous look.
ConsThe color payoff of this blush is so intense that it can be tricky to control the amount. The first time I applied it, I used a brush and blended it in, only to end up looking like I had a bruise on my cheeks!
TipIt's crucial to apply this blush by gently tapping the brush once or twice on the product. If you need more color, you can always add another light tap. This method allows for a subtle and fresh look. The shade itself is slightly dark and intense, so it looks best when applied to the outer parts of the cheekbones. When I applied it to the apples of my cheeks, it looked like a red bruise. I think the second photo shows a more accurate representation of how it looks on my complexion. If you have fair skin with a pink undertone, it might look more like the third photo.
