In autumn and winter, I always use a face oil. When I only use toner and cream, there's nothing better than adding oil when my skin feels dry. Although I don't use many products since you only need a small amount of face oil, La Mer is the top among the oils I've tried. It completely eliminates deep dryness. The ingredients are a bit disappointing compared to what I expected, but I'm grateful that it doesn't cause any blemishes... Most people will probably mix it with their cream. It's a perfect match for La Mer cream, which needs to be warmed up before use. Remember to always shake the bottle before use. I transfer some into a smaller container, which allows me to use it all without worrying about it going bad. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 23, 2022
For combination skin with seborrheic dermatitis, it's fantastic when mixed with toner, especially on dry areas! Be careful when applying to oily areas! If used incorrectly, it can lead to excess sebum production and cause small bumps all over. I recommend mixing it with your moisturizer or toner rather than applying it separately. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJan 22, 2022
It absorbs well, has excellent absorption, and smells delightful. The day after using this oil, my skin feels incredibly soft and smooth. The downside is its high price point. I'd recommend this to those looking for a lightweight oil. I apply a hydrating serum, spritz on some mist, and then massage in the oil. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinMay 31, 2021
In dry seasons, it leaves the skin feeling more hydrated. There's no stickiness, and it feels refreshingly light. - The functionality is disappointing considering the high price. It doesn't seem significantly superior to oil products from other companies. - The scent is too strong. While not unpleasant, the fragrance is overpowering. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 21, 2021
- You can really feel the high-quality ingredients in this oil. It's not just any oil, but more like an essence oil. - It works even better when mixed with other creams rather than used alone. - Though I'm hesitant to use it on my hair or nails because it's so precious, it feels amazing when I do apply it. - The price is a concern. With international travel restrictions, I can't visit duty-free shops, and buying it at a department store is quite expensive. Before use, make sure to shake the oil well. You should use it when you see bubbles forming, as this indicates that La Mer's signature ingredients have been activated. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 13, 2020
The fragrance subtly diffuses and lingers pleasantly. It's less sticky, which is great. I recently switched to the La Mer line by chance... While other products were fine, this oil caused problems after a week of use. It spread on my face like tiny bumps, causing dead skin cells to flake off... My skin basically turned inside out. Since I stopped using the oil, my skin is recovering. Those with super sensitive skin should consider this before using. - wi*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAug 1, 2020
I bought this to mix with my La Mer cushion, which can be a bit drying. This cream feels slightly more rich and nourishing when applied. For best results, I warm it up between my palms before bed and gently pat a tiny amount onto my skin. This method helps the hydration last longer. When I applied it directly to my skin, I experienced some blemishes. So now, instead of using it alone, I mix a small amount with my cushion foundation. When applying to my face, I use it sparingly, almost like a thin protective layer. - na***********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 22, 2020
It's pretty decent. If you find Crème de la Mer too rich, mixing it with this product could be a good solution. For those with dry skin, you can blend it with an emulsion or use it as a final step to seal in moisture, like a protective coating. It's okay, nothing special. It doesn't seem to have any standout features. There's not much else to say about it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 23, 2020
Apply it before bed and wake up to transformed skin. Despite being an oil, it's not sticky at all and has a lovely fragrance. The dropper lid broke halfway through using this product. Now I have to pour it into my hand, which is inconvenient. Mixing it with La Mer cream creates an absolutely divine combination. - gi*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 9, 2020
This is the best oil I've ever tried! It's perfect for my super dry skin. In winter, I mix it with my cream for double the effectiveness. Although I haven't tried many oils, I think I'll keep using this one. The price is a bit steep, but I feel like La Mer is the reason I can maintain clear, youthful skin without any blemishes. It works great when mixed with creams from other brands too!
