This lip balm has a firmer texture than Vaseline, making it great for slathering on your lips overnight to soften dead skin cells! The jar packaging is a bit inconvenient as you need to use a mini spatula or similar tool to apply it. It absorbs well and leaves my skin feeling hydrated, which I love! When I apply it generously at night before bed, it helps calm my dead skin cells, and even makes my lipstick go on smoother! I used it without any regrets! The only slight inconvenience might be that you have to apply it with your hands.

The delicate fragrance is not overwhelming, and the texture is rich and luxurious. It's suitable for all genders. This product quickly soothes the lips and envelops them in softness. Due to its price point, it's not something you can use frequently in your daily routine. You need to apply it with your fingers.

As someone who frequently gets dead skin cells on their lips and tends to pick at them, I've tried countless lip balms, but nothing compares to this one. It's great for soothing and helps when my lips are peeling. I always apply it before bed, and my lips still feel moisturized when I wake up! I've already gone through two tubes and I'm off to buy more. It seems to have a soft texture, which might be why it feels like it's used up quickly. And of course, there's the price... The scent is lovely - it's Chanel's signature fragrance, which I personally adore. As for hydration, it works wonders in winter if you apply it generously. In other seasons, it's perfect for everyday use. The downside is that the case itself is quite heavy, so it's not ideal for carrying around. Also, the fragrance is quite noticeable, which might not appeal to those who dislike scented products. I felt my lips were extremely dry before bed, so I checked the ingredients on Hwahae and decided to purchase this. I'm satisfied that it's colorless since it's meant for overnight use. It's a bit disappointing that it comes in a jar. I should use a spatula, but I often end up lazily applying it with my fingers before bed, which isn't ideal.
