The menthol in the ingredients gives a refreshing sensation on the scalp while shampooing. It lathers well and leaves your hair feeling squeaky clean. The consistency isn't too runny, making it easy to use. It's disappointing that it contains sulfates and phenoxyethanol. The hair feels stiff when rinsing and drying. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 22, 2020
The menthol ingredient gives a refreshing sensation to the scalp after rinsing. It's said to have a scalp exfoliating effect. I found it even more enjoyable when I massaged it in while washing my hair. I'm not sure if it really has an exfoliating effect, but it definitely makes my scalp feel cool! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 30, 2020
Despite containing oil, it's incredibly effective at removing scalp buildup. Unlike the typical herbal scent of Ryo shampoos, this one has a minty fragrance similar to Dentrol shampoo. Some cleansing products can leave an unpleasant odor on the crown when drying your hair, but this one does a good job of neutralizing that smell. It's convenient for family trips - just pack this 250ml bottle instead of samples or travel-sized containers. The cleansing power is so strong that it not only leaves the scalp feeling fresh but also makes the hair itself feel dry. It's similar to washing your hair with bar soap, leaving it stiff and rough. This effect is even more noticeable when using a hairdryer. While Amore Pacific shampoos can usually be purchased online for about 3,000-4,000 won each, this 250ml bottle has a regular price of 15,000 won. Even with a 30% discount, it's 10,500 won, and at 50% off, it's still 7,500 won. Although it's marketed as a scalp care line, the ingredients aren't significantly different from regular shampoo, making the price point quite burdensome. - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedJul 20, 2019
It doesn't produce much lather, but it cleanses well without irritating the scalp, which is great. The volume is too small, so the value for money is... Well, it's good, but... - ke****Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJul 3, 2019
I really liked that this shampoo doesn't have the typical herbal scent of Ryo products. It lathers up nicely and left my hair feeling soft after use. However, I didn't really notice the claimed deep cleansing of pores. It felt just like washing thoroughly with any regular shampoo, so I'm not sure how it actually differs from ordinary shampoos in practice. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJun 19, 2019
It's great to have a product like this in your routine. I used to use hair vinegar, but it only pretended to effectively remove oil and dead skin cells without actually doing so. That's why I switched to this product. I've been using it twice a week, and I'm loving it! I'd recommend buying this when it's on sale rather than at full price. It seems a bit expensive otherwise. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 15, 2019
You can immediately feel your scalp becoming clean and refreshed It's disappointing that there's less lather than expected, and it causes significant irritation if it runs down your face - uh*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 22, 2019
It's great for oily scalps and even transforms extremely greasy hair into squeaky clean locks. The menthol gives a refreshing sensation that's quite invigorating. A pump dispenser would have made it more convenient to use. I've only used it for a day, so I can't comment on other aspects yet. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 22, 2018
I decided to try this product because I tend to have a lot of dandruff and dead skin cells on my scalp. While it's not a magical solution, it's still a decent product that I can use without any issues. The fragrance is also pleasant. The fact that it doesn't come in a pump bottle? Other than that, nothing really stands out as a negative... I use it about once or twice a week. - di**********Combination SkinAcne SkinDec 12, 2017
Highly recommended for those with oily scalps! I've been using this consistently, and even if I don't wash my hair for a day, it's not noticeable. I've been using it for two years now. I saw it was discontinued, but I found it selling on 11st Street! It can make your scalp a bit dry. Since it contains menthol, it has a minty feeling. After using it daily, I didn't get dandruff, but my scalp became itchy, and when I scratched, some powder-like substance would get under my nails. Yikes! Use it only once every 2-3 days.
