Applying the balm on my hands and then adding hand cream on top creates an impenetrable moisturizing barrier!
(I usually apply it mostly on the backs of my hands)
The moisturizing power is incredible, and the synergy makes it last a long time. ♡

When the jar is hard to open, you can press and turn it with both palms to open it easily.

A spatula would be nice, but since this is a portable product, you can use your fingernails to scoop it out and apply.

I don't prefer to use it on my face, so I tried it on my lips, but using it alone on the lips was a bit drying and unsatisfactory.

And the scent of the Perilla seed balm wasn't quite to my personal liking.

To be honest, I bought the product without much thought, but the product quality was much better than I expected.
At first, it felt really solid, like it could be scratched with a fingernail and spread out.
But it melts right into the skin and becomes oily.

I used it a lot together with hand cream, and it worked amazingly well.

The container is way too thin... Haha, when I try to open it after cleansing and applying my basic skincare, my hands are slippery and it's hard to open sometimes. Hand balms are thicker and easier to handle.
On the lips, it just sits on top and doesn't really get absorbed, so I think regular lip balms are better for the lips.

The case is pretty and has a pinkish tone, but the actual product is colorless, which is nice. The scent has a slight ointment-like feel and a slightly warming sensation that clears the nose.
At first, I wondered how this differs from a lip balm, but the biggest advantage is that it can be applied to the face and doesn't feel sticky.
I often get flaky skin around my ears and sideburns, and even though I keep applying creams, they get absorbed and disappear quickly, so I have to reapply constantly. But I can't keep doing that all day.
I decided to try this product, and after just one application after my evening cleansing, the flakiness didn't come back the next evening when I cleansed again, and my skin didn't feel dry or rough - it was smooth! It doesn't just sit on top, but gets absorbed and seems to form a protective coating, which is amazing!
And it doesn't feel sticky at all - it's like the feeling of applying oil to the face, so I even apply it to my eyebrows.
It's great for applying to areas that tend to get a lot of flakiness.

If you scoop out a bit of the product on the top with a spatula and spread it out, it becomes much easier to apply. And if you mash it down, it won't harden back up again!

The volume is a bit small, which is a shame. And since it's a balm, it can be inconvenient to use when it's hardened.
The absorption is also quite slow.

The Tincase Rilakkuma is so incredibly cute! 
It's a balm-type that melts gently when applied, and it's great for applying to very dry areas.
I'm not sure if it's the scent of perilla, but the subtle fragrance is pleasing to me.
