It's expensive and comes in a small quantity. That's the only downside I can think of.

I applied it to areas where I frequently get blemishes. In summer, I might need to apply it all over.

The price? It's hard to see how much product is left. At first, I thought something was stuck to the serum's opening and tried to remove it.

I'm writing this because I'm worried it might be discontinued. While wearing a mask, my skin is fine elsewhere, but I used to get painful blemishes and inflamed spots on my chin and side cheeks, often coinciding with my menstrual cycle. Whenever something went slightly wrong, breakouts would occur. However, since using this, I've noticed significantly fewer blemishes. Instead of getting three, I might get one or none at all. Even when blemishes do appear, they're less painful. This serum prevents breakouts without being overly drying. It's a serum I'll use for life... It works hard for my skin!

For combination dehydrated skin, it feels a bit tight when applied all over the face. Even with the matching moisturizer from the same line, it's the same issue. Unless you have very oily skin, it might be difficult to use year-round. If you have combination dehydrated skin, I recommend layering another cream on top.

When I get large, painful blemishes on my chin, I apply this and see them subside immediately. That's what convinced me to buy it. On days when I use this, my skin is noticeably less oily. I plan to keep it on hand as an emergency treatment for chin breakouts.

However, I wish it also had moisturizing or pore-tightening properties. Especially considering its devilishly high price.

I haven't found an essence that controls sebum as well as this product. It's lightweight and absorbs well quickly.

While the price point is a bit steep, it's more effective and less irritating compared to other Sisley products. I'd definitely suggest giving it a try if you're struggling with excessively oily skin.

I highly recommend this product for those with extremely oily skin and inflammatory acne. It effectively controls excess sebum without being overly astringent. Even for those with dry skin who experience slight oiliness after wearing a mask all day in the office, it noticeably reduces shine. I believe it will be particularly effective for those with very oily skin, as it gently manages oil production throughout the day.

For an amazing synergistic effect, try pairing this with the Yellow Skin moisturizer for oily skin.

I have no complaints about the product's effectiveness. The only downsides are the small amount you get and the high price, which is why I'm using it sparingly.

As someone with large pores and excessively oily skin, I've only ever used pore-focused sebum essences, but never found one I was truly satisfied with. Hearing that Sisley had a line for oily skin, I decided to splurge and give it a try. My impression? It's absolutely worth every penny. While it doesn't completely eliminate sebum, it gives that coveted matte finish that those of us with oily skin dream of. Bottom line: I'll definitely keep using it.
