However... After going through the intense heat this summer, the scent somehow became strange at some point. It seems to be sensitive to high temperatures. (Other cosmetics seem fine though...) For reference, I usually kept it on my vanity where the evening sun shines well. Also, for someone like me who can't go a day without lip balm, it's not enough to use on its own. After the scent changed, I used it for a while but felt uneasy and ended up throwing it away. I had high hopes when I bought it because of the good reviews, but if it doesn't suit you, that's that. The large volume and high-quality ingredients are great. The formulation seems really excellent. The vanilla scent... sigh... As soon as I opened it and applied it once to my lips, I seriously considered throwing it away. Honestly, I absolutely can't use it again. I hate this scent so much. After applying this and drinking a glass of water, I later noticed the lip balm smell on the cup, making it unusable. It's similar to the honey scent of Burt's Bees lip balm, I think. The vanilla scent is not pleasant
