CLINIQUE Cheek Pop [Melon Pop]

Although applying blush heavily often makes the face look a bit unattractive, this is the only blush that I can pull off well. It's not too dark or dull, and while it doesn't have any shimmer, it has a radiant glow that I really like. The price is a bit steep, but since it was a gift, I don't mind. The longevity is also very good. I usually use it as a pop of color on top of a lighter blush as I find wearing it alone a bit overwhelming, but it seems to last all day that way. I typically use the Peripera Yogurt Yum Yum as the base and then apply this on top. It's a surprisingly nice combination, so you might want to give it a try.

When I first opened it, the blush popped out and did a little mid-air spin. The compact also came apart, with the pan separating from the case. Luckily, it didn't shatter, but the blush keeps moving around loosely and seems to be gradually wearing down, almost crumbling a bit. The pigmentation is extremely intense, so you have to be very careful when applying. If I'm not super precise, I end up with my cheeks looking flushed before I know it. This blush would suit warm-toned spring complexions well, but for a pale, light-toned person like me, it's a bit too intense.

The color blends naturally and beautifully. I tried using a wedge puff as recommended, but it ended up being too heavy for me, so a regular brush seems to work better. I also tried using it as an eyeshadow, and it didn't get too intense and looked very natural and lovely. It's convenient to use this one product for both eyeshadow and blush.

It's a shame the pretty floral embossing disappears. It fades more and more the more you use it.
