1. Extremely oily
It's not recommended for my oily scalp ㅠㅠ Pimples galore..
Before using this, I used hair treatments from L'Oreal, Mise-en-Scene, and the salon, since my hair is bleached. I used a hair pack once a day, just like this one... but the oil was no joke ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ After using it for about a week, it got really greasy..
💛You need to use it with breaks in between💛 But my hair combs well!
2. Difficult to maintain hygiene
Since it's not a pump product, water gets into the container, and I was worried about mold every day.
Hair packs are used after washing your hair, so the water on your hands or dripping from your hair can get into the container! That can lead to mold growth in the humid bathroom, and that's a waste of money and can damage your scalp, so I don't recommend it..👎

If you transfer it to a travel-sized lotion bottle sold at Daiso or Art Box, you can easily use it even with wet hands!

The disappointing part is the packaging. I guess they tried to match the price. Scooping it out with wet hands and twisting the cap open is inconvenient, so I end up squeezing it out of a small travel lotion bottle. Twisting the cap open with wet hands is difficult. Scooping it out and using it seems more convenient.

Even after washing your hair, it doesn't have a greasy smell, and after drying your hair, if your hair doesn't have much volume, doing a scalp pack once can make your scalp feel refreshed and not itchy at all. It's really great to use. The price is also reasonable.

I've been using the 1,000 won scalp brush from Daiso to help evenly distribute the pack on my scalp. It feels like it's really helping to thoroughly clean the oily areas. Using the two together has been very helpful.
Any other scalp brush from Daiso would probably work just as well.

The only slight inconvenience was that I had to manually apply it with my fingers since there's no applicator. I've been using it together with a Daiso product.
It worked well for my oily scalp, but I'm not sure if it would be as suitable for dry scalp.
But I don't really have any major downsides to point out.

My scalp is very oily and my hair is quite thin, so the oil builds up quickly and I tend to have a lot of itchiness. But when I use this product, I immediately feel a nice cooling sensation on my head.
At 9,900 won, the size is about the same as 3 cans of tuna, and it's really a great value. If you buy it on sale, you can get it even cheaper.
It definitely reduces the itchiness, and my hair gets less oily on the days I use it compared to when I don't. I love it so much that I'm already on my 3rd bottle.
If you're worried about oily scalp and itchiness, I recommend trying this out. If it works for you, you can keep purchasing it!

I've been using it for over a year, but I haven't really noticed any hair growth effects.

After using it, my scalp feels clean and refreshed.

After washing your hair, lightly pat it dry with a towel. Then, scoop out an amount about the size of a 500 won coin, and massage it into your entire scalp. Let it sit for 5-15 minutes, then rinse it off.

It seems you need to rinse it out thoroughly. It gets quite slippery and produces a lot of lather. If you just wash it off with water, it doesn't clean properly and remains slippery, but using soap helps it rinse off cleanly. Other than that, it's the best - the effects are great, and the cooling sensation and fragrance are nice.

Given my job, I have to wear a lot of protective gear like dust caps and hard hats in the clean room, which doesn't allow for good sweat ventilation. At some point, I started losing a lot of hair. So I went looking for scalp care products and ended up buying one recommended by the staff at the Nature Republic store. To my surprise, it's been amazing. I'm not sure if the ingredients are particularly special, but the results have been immediate. After washing my hair and drying it with a towel, there used to be a lot of hair left on the towel. But after using this product, I can see the amount of shedding has drastically reduced. I use it every other day, 3 times, and now I barely lose any hair, even when I tug on it firmly - before, I could pull out around 10 strands easily. Luckily, I have thick hair and it wasn't too severe, but this product has really saved my hair. I've been recommending it to everyone around me - it's a lifesaver!

Review from the first half of 2017 - I bought it because the reviews were decent, but when I looked at the product case, I found that it contained humidifier disinfectant ingredients that were not listed on Hwahae. 
It contains methylchloroisothiazolinone and methylisothiazolinone.
Many people may have purchased it without knowing, so it would be best to discontinue use.

It seems the humidifier disinfectant ingredients have been removed, so you can now safely purchase and use the product after verifying the ingredients.
Review from the first half of 2017 - There were no reviews as I couldn't even try the product due to the humidifier disinfectant ingredients. It's a shame to give it just one star.

You can buy the argan hair pack and apply this at the same time while you're waiting, so you don't need to set aside extra time to use it. It's convenient.

Apart from the cooling effect, it's hard to know if it really provides proper exfoliation or sebum removal.

After massaging the scalp, wait 5-10 minutes before rinsing, and you'll really feel the cooling effect. It's so refreshing! 
Nature Republic's argan hair pack is famous, and since you're going to apply the argan to the lower part of your hair and wait, you can just apply this to the scalp area during that time too. 
Even women with oily scalps need to properly exfoliate and remove excess oil, otherwise they can experience hair loss. If this provides cooling while also giving a good peeling effect, it's worth using and managing your scalp with this.
