The fragrance is absolutely delightful! What's amazing is that this shampoo alone leaves my hair feeling as soft as if I've used a treatment or conditioner. It's perfect for those busy mornings when I need to get ready in a flash, which is why I've made it part of my daily routine. Given how rich this product is, prolonged use seems to trigger blemishes on the scalp and even causes an odor. It's as if the oils are clogging up the pores... Plus, it makes my scalp itchy. After a while, there's a noticeable smell coming from the scalp. Word of caution to those with oily scalps - it can make your hair get greasy faster! That's why I only use this shampoo on busy workday mornings. Once a week, I make sure to do a scalp scaling treatment - you know, to remove those dead skin cells. I also use a regular shampoo with good cleansing effectiveness once or twice a week. As someone with incredibly thick and dry hair, this shampoo has been my absolute holy grail. It's been impossible to find for months, so I called Nature Republic. They said it's scheduled for renewal, but the timeline isn't set yet. It's practically discontinued at this point... I'm devastated! My hair is so thick that water usually can't reach my scalp, but this shampoo managed to penetrate through. Now that I can't get it anymore, I'm at a loss. I have no idea what shampoo could possibly replace this! The only downside is that it requires a long rinse. I've been using this product in bulk, and it's perfect for my extremely damaged hair. The scent is lovely, and it leaves my hair feeling soft and smooth. I don't feel like it has strong cleansing effectiveness. It might make hair feel heavy and greasy if used during summer.

First off, the scent is absolutely divine! While it feels oily during application, once you rinse it out, your hair feels incredibly smooth and silky. That's why I've switched to using their entire line, including the treatment and hair oil. I highly recommend it! If you're not a fan of oil-based fragrances, this might not be for you. Just using this shampoo alone makes my hair so soft. I've been loyal to it for 5 years now. The fragrance is subtly pleasant too. My hair was damaged and difficult to brush, but after using this shampoo, it became silky smooth. That's why I bought the large size. After about two weeks of use, I got painful acne all over my scalp! I'd rather have frizzy hair than this... I'll never use it again.
