1. The fragrance is lovely While personal preferences may vary, I personally really enjoy the Beleda Wild Rose line's fragrance - it's a natural rose and leaf scent, so to speak. 2. It helps with skin texture When I apply it at night and wake up the next morning, my skin feels like the texture has improved. It's not just a quick silicone-based smoothing effect, but a more genuine improvement. I repurchased this to give to my mother. I think those with dry or aging skin would really like it. There are quite a few potentially allergenic ingredients, but I personally didn't have any issues with it. If you have sensitive skin, you may want to avoid it. I'm not sure about its lifting or wrinkle-reducing effects. Older users would probably be better able to assess that. The product emphasizes massaging it into the skin at night. There's even a massage guide included, so I ended up doing facial massages that I don't usually do, using this oil. It definitely helps with blood circulation, and the fragrance helps relieve some stress as well. There's no need to wipe it off or cleanse afterwards. For normal skin, it's recommended to use it 2 times a week, and for very dry or problematic skin, daily for 7 days. Those who love facial oils may be able to just leave it on overnight, but for people like me who find having something on their face overnight uncomfortable, or are worried about breakouts, gently wiping it off with a skin toner (an alcohol-free one would be best) after the massage is an option. I usually use the Alti×Organics rose water that I normally use, applying it to a cotton pad and lightly wiping my face before going to bed. The next morning, my skin looked smoother and nicer, so I kept using that method.
