Warning: This isn't what you might think! The scrub is made from walnut shells, so there's no worry about microplastics. That's what I love most about it! The fragrance and overall experience are delightful too! As expected with any scrub, it can leave the skin feeling a bit tight after use. Make sure to moisturize well afterwards! - ba*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 18, 2019
I decided to try Fleur's body scrub since it's famous for that product. The refreshing herbal scent really lifts my mood during showers. The walnut shell powder gently removes dead skin cells, leaving me feeling invigorated. Thanks to its oil content, my skin doesn't feel dry after rinsing. For those accustomed to more intense exfoliation, this might feel a bit mild. Be prepared to clean the shower floor thoroughly after use. - pi*********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 7, 2019
Smooths out rough patches nicely when applied Causes minimal irritation The walnut scent is absolutely delightful Just squeeze out a small amount and gently massage it into the desired areas For those of us with thicker skin, this product falls short I need at least a Thermes-level scrub to effectively remove dead skin cells - maybe it's because I'm a full-blooded Korean It works decently on areas with thinner skin like the chest or stomach, but doesn't scrub well on parts like the legs - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedMay 16, 2018
While I didn't have a ton of back acne, it wasn't completely clear either. But this product almost eliminated it entirely. Plus, it's great value for the price. I honestly can't think of any major drawbacks while using this scrub. I found it worked better when I lathered it up with a foam net rather than applying it directly with my hands. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 20, 2018
For reference, I have extremely dry skin on my body with keratosis pilaris... I liked how smooth my skin felt after using and rinsing it off. I'm not sure about the skin improvement effects though... When I first used it, I squeezed out a lot without thinking, but that seemed like too much, so I gradually reduced the amount. However, it seems you can use it effectively even with a small amount. So when I use it on my legs, I use about the size of a dime... or maybe even less. That amount seems to be enough. I'm not sure if it contains microbeads, but when I rinse, there are little particles here and there... Also, after using it, if I only apply the emulsion, my skin starts to feel quite tingly after a while... So I make sure to apply the emulsion very generously and also use oil on areas that tend to get very dry... In summer, just applying the emulsion might be fine. The most disappointing thing is that I didn't really notice any skin improvement... I bought it because I have severe keratosis pilaris, but the improvement was maybe 10 out of 100..? My body skin has been very dry since I was young, prone to dead skin cells, and somewhat sensitive. Just using this alone seems to irritate my skin a bit, so lately I've been mixing it with a little body cream.. That seems to make it less irritating... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 25, 2017
Every winter, my skin used to get flaky with dead skin cells, but instead of going to the bathhouse, I've been consistently using this scrub. Now, not only do I avoid flaking, but my skin feels incredibly soft and smooth! The fragrance is a bit strong... It lingers intensely even after showering. - 4c******Normal SkinNov 24, 2017
The scrubbing function is definitely excellent. After using it, my skin feels soft and smooth, which is really nice... Recently, I've become interested in cosmetic ingredients. After hearing that scrubs might contain microplastics, I decided to check the ingredients list. From an ingredient perspective, it doesn't seem to be a very usable product. While there are no microplastics, it contains sulfates and too many potentially carcinogenic substances. Even the fragrance is high on the list... Although it's a body product and this might be unavoidable to some extent, if you want to reduce sulfate products, it might be better for your skin health to just exfoliate physically by scrubbing regularly, even if it's a bit more troublesome. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinNov 15, 2017
This is the best scrub I've ever used! The particles aren't too harsh, so it shouldn't cause much irritation unless you scrub too vigorously. It feels very similar to clay... almost identical. After using this, my back blemishes significantly decreased! If I had to point out something, the scent is a bit odd... It's not that I hate it, but it's not pleasant either - just a strange smell. There is some fragrance in it though. But that's really nitpicking. The effectiveness is so satisfying that I don't really mind the scent. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 29, 2017
As someone with keratosis pilaris, I consistently use scrubs, and I can definitely say that after exfoliating, my skin texture feels incredibly smooth. Those bumpy areas seem to have diminished and are less noticeable. With regular use, I don't experience that whitish flaking from dead skin cells, so I make it a part of my year-round skincare routine. The particles are quite fine, so as long as you don't rub too vigorously, it doesn't cause any irritation. There's not much to dislike, except maybe that consistency is key - one-off use won't cut it. Also, like most Fluscrub products, the scent is just okay. I wish it had a sweeter fragrance, but it has this unique smell I've never encountered before, which is slightly disappointing. Still, I suppose it's better than adding potentially harmful ingredients just for a pleasant scent! For those with keratosis pilaris, using this scrub consistently once or twice a week can really improve your skin texture and reduce those bumps! I'd also recommend it for anyone dealing with rough, flaky skin on their elbows or anklebones. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJun 6, 2017
