After using it, my makeup seems to apply better and my skin feels cleaner. I guess that's what you'd expect from an exfoliating gel! Somehow this ended up in my house, so I tried it. It's truly like a banana peel! When you rub it, it rolls up in this weird, gummy way. Then when you try to wash it off, it sticks to your face and hands like glue. Even glue washes off, but this stuff won't budge! It's so sticky... I finally managed to scrub it off with a cleansing foam, but then my skin felt incredibly dry. Even though I rarely get blemishes, this stuff gave me red, irritated skin all over. I was confused, so I read the label - apparently it's supposed to leave your skin moisturized. It really does an excellent job of removing dead skin cells! As someone with dry skin, I find it sloughs off effortlessly. Rinsing it off is a real challenge. It feels like you're plucking out tiny hairs, giving a prickly sensation. I even tried it on my neck and arms, but it still doesn't wash off easily. I'm genuinely puzzled by this. I bought the body version too, and while it exfoliates well, rinsing is an absolute nightmare. After washing, my skin turns red, which makes me think it could be irritating, especially for the face. This product has me vowing never to use it again!
