As someone with super sensitive skin, I usually break out with sunscreens, but this one causes fewer blemishes. That's what I love most about it. Remember, everyone's skin is different, so don't rely solely on my review. It brightens my complexion and provides good coverage. Compared to the Moist version, it takes longer to break down. Since I have oily skin, the matte finish suits me well. After switching to this, I've received many compliments on how good my skin looks. When it breaks down, you can see it settling into pores during touch-ups, which is hard to cover. Being a BB cream, it tends to rub off easily if something lightly touches your face. I'm not sure about its sun protection effectiveness, as my face, which gets the most sun exposure, still tans. It would be great if they offered a portable compact version. You can get it much cheaper during Etude House sales, and it's still good value even at regular price. They seem to have sales about once a month. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 2, 2018
I bought this for when my skin gets tanned in summer, and it's perfect when applied with a puff! When my complexion brightened up, I often mixed it with sunscreen or a slightly lighter foundation. The volume seems generous, so I plan to use it again this summer when I get tanned. The staying power isn't great, and sometimes it gets caught in the nose pads of my glasses... If you set it with powder like baking, the staying power is decent even in summer. It's great for mixing with foundation, and it's so lightweight that I often just quickly apply it with my hands before running to the store. - a0**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 11, 2018
It applies so smoothly with a matte finish! I bought one that matches my overall skin tone perfectly. The sun protection is excellent too! There's not really anything I'd call a downside... Though I did notice it has a slightly oily sheen to it. I think it would work great with a makeup base sunscreen or a brightening moisturizer! Since this is a BB cream, make sure to cleanse thoroughly before bed. Proper facial care seems to be key for maintaining its effectiveness! - hu******Oily SkinAcne SkinApr 15, 2018
The matte version after the moist one works better for my oily skin. It's good! I have oily, acne-prone skin and apply this BB cream after concealer. When first applied, it makes my skin look clean and bright. I don't feel like it's caking or pilling. The amount is really generous - I've been using it for almost a year now. The downside is that the staying power is terrible. After just a few hours, it seems to fade back to my original skin tone, and it comes off easily around the nose area. It doesn't adhere well, so you need to pat it in with a puff. As time passes, it tends to darken, which isn't great. It also feels heavy, which can be uncomfortable. If I leave it on for a long time before removing, I sometimes get blemishes the next day. I wouldn't really recommend it. As soon as I get home, I remove it from my skin. If you apply too much, it can make blemishes look more noticeable, so it's best to apply a thin layer just enough to brighten the complexion. Patting it in with a puff works well. - dl*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 18, 2018
Despite the ingredients not being the best, it didn't cause any major breakouts or blemishes The matte finish definitely made my skin feel dry, and I'm a bit disappointed with the ingredients - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinNov 16, 2017
It does a decent job of concealing acne scars. While not perfect, I'd rate its coverage about 8 out of 10. What I love most is how it works with my darker skin tone. My complexion isn't reddish-dark, but more of a yellowish-dark like coffee. Usually, when I apply a beige-toned BB cream, it makes me look ashy like cement. But this one visibly reduces the yellow undertones. I have oily but dehydrated skin that tends to be very dry. Because of this, I need to apply emulsion or cream generously before makeup for a smooth application. The texture isn't very smooth, so I have to blend it multiple times with a puff for even coverage. Rather than using this BB cream all over my face, I apply it selectively to darker areas around the outer corners of my eyes and mouth. It provides more natural coverage than a concealer while significantly reducing yellow undertones, resulting in a more even complexion. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 27, 2017
It adheres well to the skin and has a matte finish. Yes, that's right. It's not bad. I'm so frustrated! While applying makeup, my face suddenly felt hot, so I went to wash it off. When I came back, my face was covered in irritation and blemishes. Don't use this if you don't want to ruin your skin.
