  After using just one essence for a while, I wanted to try something different, so I bought this. I really like how it's not sticky and feels light on the skin.

  Pros

  As someone with extremely dry, atopic, sensitive, and hyper-reactive skin, I've tried almost every product claiming to be gentle. After using this for about two weeks, here's my take: It's incredibly lightweight with a gel-like texture. I tend to apply generous amounts of skincare, whether it's toner or emulsion, and even a hint of oiliness makes me feel stuffy and causes sebum production. Despite my dry skin, I prefer light, oil-free products that are packed with hydration rather than thick, greasy ones. This product absorbs quickly, and I barely notice any oiliness, which is fantastic - no stuffiness at all! Yet it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry. Instead, it keeps the surface adequately moisturized while seeming to address my dehydrated skin underneath. Best of all, when I apply makeup over this, there's hardly any flaking or dryness. I'm really impressed!

  Cons

  The main drawback for me is the slight warming sensation upon application. My skin is so sensitive that even mildly irritating ingredients cause an immediate burning feeling and tingling. With this product, I experienced a mild heat sensation for about 5 seconds after applying. Wondering if it was just me, I had my sister with resilient skin try it, and she felt no irritation at all. The biggest disappointment, however, is the ingredient list. Looking at it now, I find the formulation somewhat lacking. Apart from these issues, it's a satisfactory product overall.

  Tip

  Oh, I should mention that when I used this, I had run out of toner. Even without applying toner underneath, this product kept my skin hydrated and comfortable without any tightness. That's pretty impressive!

Using this alone after toner gives you that coveted 'Inner Glow' look. Add a cream, and you'll have a dewy complexion all day long.

  While the effects are noticeable even after just a few uses, the high price point makes it a bit of a splurge. As someone with combination dehydrated and super sensitive skin, I often have redness around my nose and chin. When I first applied it, there was a slight tingling sensation and irritation that made the redness last longer. I'm not sure if it's truly gentle, but with consistent use, the tingling subsided. The hydration is truly excellent, so I'm continuing to use it. The rich texture might not be suitable for summer use for those without dry skin.

  First off, this is a review from The Hwahae Testers. What I liked was how lightweight it feels, as if you're not wearing anything. It absorbs instantly, to the point where you can't even tell you've applied it. The scent is also quite neutral. The hydration seems decent. Personally, I find the packaging absolutely gorgeous.

  Cons

  The main issue is, of course, the ingredients. As someone who avoids harmful substances in cosmetics, seeing five potentially harmful ingredients included was... well, a bit disappointing. When I first applied it, my face felt a tingling sensation. It's unfortunate that it contains five potentially harmful ingredients.

  Tip

  I mixed this serum with clay mask powder when doing a clay mask. While I did apply it to my face, I frequently used it on my neck as well.

  I'm one of The Hwahae Testers! I was always worried about dead skin cells on my forehead, but after applying this, it's improved tremendously without any flaking.

  Beauty YouTubers all raved about it, and the ingredients seemed fine, so I bought two during a sale. As soon as I applied it, I felt a stinging sensation and itchiness. My skin isn't particularly sensitive, and I've never experienced irritation like this before. I've even used expired cosmetics without issues. Thinking it might be a first-time reaction, I tried again the next day, but the stinging and itching persisted. I thought it was just me, so I had my mom try it too, and she suffered for two days as well. When I gave it to an acquaintance to try, they were fine with it. I used to think, 'Who cares about cosmetic ingredients?' and used anything, but now I'm so curious about what could be causing this that I even signed up for the app.
