Honestly, this seems pretty good! I used to think, 'How good can a soap really be?' I've tried many expensive brands, but they always left my skin feeling dry. Damyeol, however, I've been using consistently. While it's great in winter, I've noticed it has a definite soothing effect in summer, so I ordered it in advance. Since I started using Damyeol, I haven't reached for any other soaps or cleansing foams. The price isn't exactly cheap... Being a handmade soap, it's definitely pricier than other soaps on the market. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 1, 2017
Keeps skin hydrated after cleansing without any deep dryness. The scent reminds me of bamboo, which is quite pleasant! The price is on the higher side, making it a bit of a splurge for personal use. Though considering how much you apply each time, it might be worth the investment. You could try cutting the soap in half to make it last longer! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMay 1, 2017
This is a life-changing soap, and I'm disappointed there aren't more reviews. After switching from just using foam cleansers, my skin texture has improved tremendously. It's become so soft and supple! Plus, I used to get blemishes that lasted about 3 days after drinking or not getting enough sleep, but since using the Bab Bucha Coal soap, they clear up in just one day! Highly recommended! The inconvenience of using soap? While it's good enough to make me forgo the convenience of foam cleansers, it can be a bit bothersome at times. The soap is surprisingly durable, so leaving it out isn't a big issue. However, I noticed a difference between using a soap dish and not using one. I recommend using one!
