Pros๐กThis is a review based on my personal purchase and use.
๐โโ๏ธI have a scalp type that gets greasy if I don't wash my hair even for a day, and I'm troubled by dandruff and sebum.
๐ฟ The menthol ingredient was great, as I could feel a refreshing sensation on my scalp after washing. I think it would be particularly suitable for use in the summer. Even when rinsing with lukewarm water, I could feel a cool, refreshing sensation.
๐ฟ As it is a silicone-free, oily and dandruff-targeted treatment, regular users may find it drying, but it seems to be a great product for those with oily scalps. Especially, I liked that my scalp didn't get as greasy compared to when I used other treatments.
๐ฟ No salicylic acid!
While salicylic acid is effective for sebum control, it is one of the ingredients that pregnant women should use with caution. Of course, this product would likely contain a low concentration, but still, those with sensitivity may want to exercise caution when using it on pregnant women or children under 3 years old.
(There is a belief that scalp ingredients can be absorbed into the uterus for women.)
Cons๐ My hair does feel quite dry.
I've been using an essence only on the ends of my hair after drying.
Tip๐โโ๏ธ Buy the Innisfree hair products when they're 50% off for a great deal!
๐โโ๏ธ The Refreshing (for oily scalp) product in the same hair recipe line contains salicylic acid. I recommend buying the Anti-Dandruff one instead of the Refreshing one.
