The staying power was... really poor. It also transferred a lot, so after eating, it would completely disappear. It's called a tint, but it's not really... you know. Also, it tends to leak a bit as you use it. I remember sadly wiping the case with tissues. Now, well, it's discontinued anyway.

The color is beautiful! This tint really brings life to your lips. Even though it's been years since I finished it, I felt compelled to write this review.

While the color is pretty, there's something a bit unnatural about the application. That's why I always end up using similar shades from other products.

The color payoff is great and it has a slightly glossy finish. The price point is also reasonable.

This might be due to my application technique, but it tends to smear easily. It also transfers a lot, and when applied, it feels like it's sitting on top of the skin rather than absorbing.

The color is beautiful and it's not drying. The scent is just a sweet fragrance.

Being so moisturizing, it does tend to transfer quite a bit. If you don't mind transfer, it should be fine.

I love how it's moisturizing and has great color payoff. Highly recommended for those with dry lips or anyone who enjoys a hydrating lip product.

But the quality seems to be slightly lacking compared to the price point.

The longevity seems to be quite good.

And unlike other tints, it seems to be on the more moisturizing side.

Longevity: Being a nourishing tint, the staying power is unfortunately quite poor. While some might prefer a tint that doesn't stain, for someone like me who needs to eat, frequently kisses, and often has hair touching my lips, the lack of staining power is a real drawback. I used to use a tint pen before this, which emphasized dry patches badly, so I bought this. However, the staining power is far worse than the pen - it seems like it would completely wipe off with just one kiss or if anything touches your lips. I'll have to keep reapplying frequently. I'll continue using it, but I might need to buy another long-lasting tint to apply underneath this one.

Interestingly, if it gets on your hands, it stains well and lasts a long time there - it's really hard to remove!

Gradient effect: When you blot after applying to your lips, it doesn't create a gradient effect. Instead, it becomes a full lip color with visible edges, which I'm not too fond of. I'll probably need to apply it just in the center and pat it out with my finger. Goodbye, clean hands...

Settling into fine lines: As the color fades a bit over time, it can settle into fine lines, making them more noticeable. This isn't a major issue since you can just reapply. However, when removing your makeup, it tends to stay in the fine lines while coming off everywhere else, which is a bit disconcerting.

Dead skin cells: I have seriously dry, flaky lips and usually need to slather on lip balm before applying tint, plus use Vaseline every night to combat the flakes taking over. But with this tint, there's absolutely no need for lip balm - it's incredibly moisturizing. There are zero issues with flaking or dryness. It's truly amazing.

My old tints would create an unsightly line on the inner part of my lips after a while, but this one doesn't due to its hydrating nature. Love it!

Moisture: It looks dewy right after application and maintains both its moisture and color for about 3-4 hours, assuming nothing touches your lips.

Color payoff: With a moderate application, it's a mix of 1 part red, 2 parts vermilion, 1 part orange, and 0.3 parts pink. If you apply more, the red intensity might increase to about 2 parts. The color is absolutely gorgeous - it's a record-breaker! While it seems like it would suit warm tones perfectly, it's actually a universally flattering shade that would look good on anyone. I'm in love with the color - it's not overwhelmingly intense, just beautifully pigmented.

Staining: After applying the tint and blotting with a tissue, my lips are completely orange. The stain seems to be about 0.5 parts pink and 1 part orange. However, when first applied, there's no hint of pink at all. This might be perfect for those who don't like pink but also don't want it completely absent.

It tends to clump when applying, and the tint easily smears beyond the lip line whenever I eat or drink anything.

I bought this thoughtlessly during a sale, thinking it was a red-orange shade, but it seems to have some pink mixed in... It's not a perfect match for me, which was a bit disappointing. Also, because the color is so vibrant, when applied to the lips, there's a very noticeable boundary between the applied and non-applied areas, making it look a bit unnatural. Apart from these personal preferences, there are hardly any drawbacks!

As someone with extremely dry lips, I usually need lip balm under any tint or lipstick. However, this oil tint is quite rich among its kind. I found that I didn't necessarily need to use lip balm with it, as it didn't emphasize dead skin cells much! Also, the color is really vibrant and beautiful. When you open the cap, the applicator pops up nicely, preventing any mess.
