I bought this because the Sum brand is well-known for their 'Appa' emulsion. The fragrance is pleasantly subtle. The product packaging needs improvement. The lid comes off too easily. When I unconsciously grabbed the top of the cosmetic bottle to lift it, the lid easily separated from the body, and I almost dropped it on my foot. (It ended up hitting the wooden bed frame, damaging the bed.) The entire product container is also very slippery in hand. The body of the bottle is much heavier compared to the lid. While I've never dropped products from other brands, both my dad and I have dropped this one. I've been using this for years and absolutely love it. The scent is subtle, almost unnoticeable, making it very comfortable to use. It feels clean on the skin without any tightness. It's oil-free and leaves a fresh finish. In winter, it can occasionally feel a bit tight, so I supplement with a hydrating sunscreen. During the colder months, when my skin sometimes feels a bit dry, I layer it with a moisturizing sunscreen for extra hydration.
