This is truly a life-changing shampoo. While my hair isn't extremely oily, it gets greasy and shiny if I don't wash it for a day or two. After giving birth, I've been more prone to scalp itchiness and blemishes. But ever since my husband gifted me this, I've been absolutely loving it. Not only is the cleansing effectiveness excellent, but the sea salt seems to slightly alleviate itching and inflammation symptoms. The thorough cleansing also gives my hair great volume after drying. I highly recommend this for those with oily scalps or who are prone to scalp issues. I was a bit concerned about the SLS content, but after reading Lush's explanation on their website, I felt somewhat reassured. They say that since it's used on the scalp and rinsed off quickly, there's less risk of absorption into the body. Also, while many people complain about the inconvenient packaging, I personally don't mind the slight inconvenience if it's better for the environment. - me*************Normal SkinRecommendedJan 19, 2020
Even with a small amount, it lathers up generously and gives a rich, creamy feel. The scent lingers subtly after rinsing, though it seems to fade rather quickly. Being in Lush's signature black container makes it inconvenient to use while showering. The consistency is also quite thin, making it tricky to dispense. The fragrance doesn't seem to last as long as I expected. A Lush employee recommended mixing it with a bit of their Wasabi Shampoo. I had some left at home, so I tried the combination. It actually enhanced the cooling effect, which was quite nice. - jp*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 11, 2019
Why are there so few reviews for this? It's way better than Bigg... While it contains salt crystals, they dissolve quickly in water, making it non-irritating and producing an abundance of lather. It can leave your hair feeling slightly stiff, but I found that using a good treatment afterwards helps counteract that. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 22, 2018
I was amazed at how much this Jersey Bounce improved my dry and easily tangled hair when I first tried it. It's a product that provides nourishment with eggs and volume with sea salt. If Curly Wurly is for nutrition and Big is for volume, I'd say this one falls somewhere in the middle. Personally, I think Lush's solid shampoos in pots are better than their liquid products. While the shampoo in a pot is good, it can be a bit tricky to use. I find myself being careful not to let too much water get in while shampooing. You also need to be mindful of how much you use - if you're not careful with portioning, you might go through the whole pot quickly. Unlike other pot shampoos, this product comes in both small and large sizes. If you want to try it out to see if it works for you, consider buying the smaller size first, even though it might be a bit pricier per ounce. It's a great way to test it out! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinDec 25, 2017
Produces a rich lather with excellent cleansing effectiveness. The scent is captivating. After washing with this shampoo, it feels like styling is unnecessary as your hair naturally falls into place. It's inconvenient to use. I have to dry my hands with a towel before dispensing to avoid water contact. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 24, 2017
My hair was damaged from coloring, feeling dry and brittle, and the volume was starting to fall flat. Regular treatments weren't solving these issues, but after using this product, I got both shine and volume back at once. It's a holy grail!!! The salt granules are a bit sparse, so when massaging into the scalp, a few grains fall to the floor, which feels wasteful.
