It moisturizes so well that it gives a beautiful color payoff even when your lips aren't in the best condition While there aren't any real downsides, those who don't prefer moisturizing formulas or want intense color payoff might find it a bit lacking

This is a perfect match for summer cool tones! Just as warm tones have their C'sire, cool tones have their Lustering. It applies smoothly and allows your natural lip color to shine through, making it an ideal choice for those with cool undertones. As with most lipsticks, the staying power leaves something to be desired. As someone who owns over 20 MAC lipsticks, I can confidently say I'm a true MAC lipstick enthusiast. While I have many pink shades, Lustering is a unique addition to my collection. It's not a light pink, but rather a slightly deeper hue. There's no yellow undertone; instead, it has a subtle reddish tint. When applied, it gives a lively and feminine look. The lipstick glides on smoothly with a moisturizing feel. Its staying power seems better than others. You know how some lipsticks wear off embarrassingly, leaving color only at the edges? Well, this one fades naturally and evenly. If there's one drawback, it would be the longevity - but that's typical for lipsticks, isn't it? When applied lightly, it gives a healthy pink glow, and when layered for more intensity, it becomes a slightly muted, cool-toned pink. It's perfect for a natural look! I have cool undertones, and this shade complements me well. The staying power is non-existent. I mean, really non-existent. Summer cool-toned beauties, this is a must-have! As someone diagnosed with a soft summer cool complexion, I fell in love at first application. It's a delightful watery pink shade - subtly elegant, with just the right amount of color payoff, and the perfect pink hue. It's so hydrating that you won't even need a separate lip balm. I'm a huge fan of these water-tinted lip colors, and Lustering has stolen my heart! Out of my 20 lipsticks, this is the one I carry and apply 7 days a week. Worn alone, it gives you that moisturized pink lip look, but it also works wonderfully as a base for more pigmented shades, creating an effortless MLBB (My Lips But Better) effect. If you're a summer cool, especially soft, I highly recommend this! If I had to nitpick, I'd say that because it's so hydrating, you might find yourself using it up rather quickly.

I'm not a fan of the deeper undertone shades like Chichi, but I absolutely adore pink-tinted lustrous colors. This is my second tube, and I frequently mix it with YSL Tint-in-Oil No. 9 for a perfect blend. It's quite pricey... And it fades away too quickly. Also, to be honest, those with deeper undertones might find it looks a bit off on its own, which is why I mix it with YSL Tint-in-Oil. - ra*********Dry SkinRecommendedApr 19, 2019
I always keep this on hand because it's my favorite color. It's moisturizing and beautiful. The staying power is a bit disappointing. But I guess that's unavoidable with lipsticks...
