Great for dry skin! I love that it doesn't make my face overly oily as time passes, but provides just the right amount of moisture. No complaints here. It works well for my dry face without any issues. When applied as a final step in your skincare routine, it leaves your skin looking beautifully hydrated. - qw*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 21, 2019
I've repurchased this product three times. It's even a product I bought for my husband when we were dating. This oil brought much-needed hydration to my combination dehydrated skin. Another plus is that it doesn't cause blemishes. My skin tends to be oily yet feels tight, so I usually start with oil-free hydrating products and finish with three drops of oil. Among all the oils I've used, this one and camellia oil have been the best. The scent is also pleasant - not the typical greasy smell of oils, but rather a fragrant aroma. The volume is so large that I get anxious about not being able to use it all even after a year. Given the nature of oils, it's not easy to apply liberally, and using just three drops a day means it seems to last forever. I end up throwing it away when it expires and buying a new one... such a waste. It's not exceptionally moisturizing when applied to dry areas of the body either, so it didn't have any notable benefits there. It probably won't suit those with super dry skin. The photo shows the oil after about 6 months of use. - rl********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 25, 2018
Since becoming pregnant, my skin has become super sensitive and I've been dealing with acne I've never experienced before, which has been so stressful. Unable to take medication, my atopic dermatitis flared up again, causing dead skin cells to build up. I tried this product and it's been so soothing and effective! It's really helped calm my skin. The price is a bit... Well, aside from the cost, everything else is great! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedSep 3, 2018
I've been using Hwamisa products after searching for organic options due to my atopy and dermatitis issues, and they've been working great for me. I'm absolutely in love with this product! It's incredibly lightweight and absorbs well into the skin. I've been using jojoba oil for a long time, but this is even lighter, making it suitable for oily skin types during fall and winter. Although I have dry-leaning skin, this summer was exceptionally hot, and I disliked waking up with sticky or greasy skin. Even after applying a few drops before bed, there's no greasiness, which is fantastic. It's refreshing, so those with deep dryness might find it beneficial when the cold wind blows. Previously, due to atopy and contact dermatitis, I was generously using affordable and cost-effective jojoba oil, but this product has better absorption and application. It has a vitamin C or Lemona-like scent that almost disappears after application. I've been using jojoba oil because of its skin-friendly properties and benefits for the skin barrier. While I haven't seen noticeable effects, consistent use should yield results. This product has a high content of argan tree kernel oil, which I found contains tocopherol, a vitamin E that helps prevent aging. They seem to use a brown bottle to reduce photosensitivity, but I always keep it away from sunlight. I apply 2-3 drops alone after toner or mix a drop or two with cream or essence. Used alone, it's not heavy at all and doesn't leave a greasy feeling. It feels like applying a thin layer of very light emulsion. With my slightly dry skin, I wake up without greasiness or tightness. This could really help both dry and oily skin types during seasonal changes. Compared to the jojoba oil I've been using, this has less quantity and is more expensive. If used sparingly on the face, one bottle should last from fall through winter. Since this product contains not only jojoba oil but also various other beneficial oils for the skin, I plan to use it on my face while continuing to use my existing jojoba oil on my body. When I mix a drop with my final skincare product in the morning, my skin stays hydrated for hours even after applying makeup! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 1, 2017
Bought this based on positive reviews. I love how quickly it absorbs and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy. It seems it can't quite handle extremely dry skin. After about an hour, the dryness returns. Try adding a drop of oil to your water when washing your face. It can provide extra hydration to your skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 19, 2017
Even though I have oily skin, applying a thin layer in winter actually prevents shine and feels great. The scent is reminiscent of vitamins, giving a sense of skin health. My skin used to be dry and flaky, but after using this, people ask what I'm using because my skin looks so good! I've tried First C vitamin products too, and while different, the effects feel similar. Being organic, I find myself reaching for this facial oil more often. It's mainly useful only in winter. The scent fades over time. Short shelf life - only 8 months after opening. Since I have oily skin, I can't apply much on my face. I mixed it with body emulsion for my child's skin - it works even better than body butter! I also smooth a bit on my hair ends as a finishing touch. It's truly a winter lifesaver. When I gifted it to my parents, they were unfamiliar with oils at first, but after I showed them how to use it, they loved it. Another vote for organic products! I even massage a drop into my nails, improving the skin around them too. Highly recommended! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 4, 2017
I have extremely dry and super sensitive skin. Even after trying highly recommended products, the deep dryness wouldn't improve. Then I discovered Hwahae's facial oil. It truly feels like it's nourishing my skin from within. Being a natural cosmetic, perhaps due to its good ingredients, it suits my sensitive skin well. In winter, mixing it with a nourishing cream keeps my skin comfortable all day long. I wish there were more promotions and discounts available. In winter, I mix it with a nourishing cream for use. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinDec 4, 2016
It feels fresh without being overly oily. My skin texture has become much smoother. It's gentle on the skin. I bought it from Dure Co-op. It seems the purchasing options are somewhat limited. Keep it in your bathroom and apply it right after cleansing, like a booster. It's nice to warm it up by rubbing it between your palms before gently pressing it onto your skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinNov 12, 2016
Great ingredients. Fantastic hydration. When I apply a drop or two to my face as the final step of my nighttime skincare routine, I wake up to noticeably different skin. It's also wonderful mixed into body lotion or emulsion for all-over moisture. There's nothing to dislike about this product. It's excellent! Despite being an oil, it doesn't feel overly rich or cause any blemishes. When applying in the morning before makeup, cup your face with warm palms to help the oil absorb thoroughly into your skin. - aj*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinNov 5, 2016
This product is perfect for my combination dehydrated skin. Since I started using it, I've noticed a significant reduction in dead skin cells when applying makeup in winter. The downside is that it stings a bit and makes my eyes water if it gets into them.
