It's exactly the dried rose color that anyone would imagine, so I often use it as a blush. This shade is perfect for those with warm undertones. I like to apply it broadly as a light peach base, then dust off some of the cinnamon-powder-like excess and apply it with a brush for a subtle, beautiful finish.
ConsWhile Etude eyeshadows are generally good value for money, they do tend to have significant excess powder. Apart from that issue, I frequently use it as a base.

This is Hawasam, who plans to upload 2 reviews today (spoiler). Actually, I was supposed to upload it yesterday, but I forgot and just decided to upload them all at once today hehe. And a recent fact I've learned is that the eyeshadow combinations I've uploaded when reviewing shadows or arana... those kinds of eye makeup products mostly seem too daily-like. This eyeshadow review also has a very daily-like feel, so... the combination in the review I'll upload around 10:30 PM(?) will be a bit stronger hehe๐ I like things bold(??) Anyway, this 'Cinnamon Powder Taste' item is the one that my chicken thigh truth goddess friend gave me๐ Haha, thank you. Alright, let's start the review now (ta-da) โ Great color payoff : It seems to be a characteristic of Etude House shadows...(of course, there are some that aren't like that, like Saebbyeokkkot Market, Saebbyeokkkot Market, or Saebbyeokkkot Market...) The color payoff is good, so I'm proud(?)๐ โ The color is pretty : This is the most important factor. The color is really nice ใ ใ ใ ใ It has a very calm feel, like a dried rose. But with the dried rose color, it also has a slightly calm brown, so it became extremely calm ใ ใ ใ ใ ใ And this brown tone is not a warm brown, so cool-toned people can use it well too. To be honest, this color doesn't seem to be too picky about the skin tone ใ ใ Anyway, it's calm, so it's good to wear in this weather!!! โ Good for combining : To be honest, if you just look at this one, you might think 'hmm', but when mixed with other shadows, it's so pretty. I really just mixed it with Solsol Dried Pinecone without any thought, and it was so pretty that I fell over. By the way, the one-eye look in the next review I'll upload is the Cinnamon Powder Taste + Solsol Dried Pinecone combination! Even with other shades, it's so so so so so pretty ๐ Well, and I'm not sure if they're selling this version, but the case is really cute ใ ใ Jelly jelly-like. It's also really suitable for daily use@@!
ConsThere's a bit of fallout, ใ ใ ใ ใ ใ It's not too severe, but it's on the higher side haha. And also, is it still available...?
TipFor those who want a more dramatic look, I also took photos in a more dramatic version, but the makeup technique is the same! It's very daily-friendly. The combination is Cinnamon Powder Taste + Evre + Woman's Coat + Guitar Goddess (optional), and it turned out to be not as red, but delicate and pretty๐ Oh, and I took a photo comparing it to Jujube Tea, but Jujube Tea is more warm-toned ใ ใ Please refer to that!

It's really beautiful when used as a base!
ConsThere's a tiny bit of excess powder... but the color is so pretty, it's easily forgiven!

It's absolutely amazing! I feel like this might become my holy grail eyeshadow. The color is labeled BR, but it's actually a brown with reddish undertones! As someone with monolids, I've never dared to try anything with red tones, but when I applied a little on my eyes, it looked great! My friends even said it didn't make my eyes look puffy at all. As long as it doesn't get discontinued, I'll definitely repurchase this over and over again!
ConsThere seems to be some excess powder when applying with a brush. It appears to have better color payoff when applied with fingers! +Update July 29 The case is too loose... The part connected to the lid was wobbling and then suddenly... it broke! Please, Etude, improve the packaging!
TipI've been using this by applying it lightly over my eyelids! It's so pretty, hehe! I recommend applying it with your fingers rather than a brush!

When used as a base, it looks so natural that it's undetectable. Especially if you have a pink undertone, this could be your secret weapon for achieving that 'no-makeup' makeup look.
ConsThe excess powder fallout... It feels like more product ended up in the air than on my face?
TipAfter applying it as a base, if you lightly sweep a slightly darker brown along your eyelid crease, it looks so natural that it appears as if you're not wearing any eye makeup at all.

Decent staying power too. Minimal excess powder when applied by hand. The packaging seems sturdier than Etude's previous eyeshadow containers. As someone with darker skin, I've struggled to find flattering pink shadows. This shade is an indie pink with almost no white base, making eyes look fresh and bright without appearing tacky. It's a deeper pink compared to Etude's Honey Grapefruit, with less of a white undertone.
ConsThere's some powder fallout when using a brush. When blended out, it has a slight purple tinge that can make eyes look swollen or bruised.

Etude's new S/S Jelly Pot Eyeshadow in Cinnamon Powder flavor! The color is a beautiful, deep, low-saturation pink! There's just a hint of brown undertone. It's a shadow without shimmer. If I had to describe it, it's a flower pink that's perfect for adding color to eye makeup or creating depth with brown shadows. Since it's a color that can make eyes look puffy, it's a bit challenging for me with monolids to use alone, but it works well when combined with contour shadows. I use it with Missha's Morning Coffee shadow, and the combination is great! Let's break it down: Application: Finely milled and applies smoothly โ โ โ โ โ Adherence: Sticks well to the skin โ โ โ โ โ Longevity: Doesn't last too long on my eyes โ โ โ Packaging: A bit flimsy, but colorful and the gummy bear is cute โ โ โ .5 Fallout: Like all powder shadows, there's some fallout. But it seems to have more than others I own โ โ โ Other: I got it on sale for 2,450 won, but even at 3,500 won it's quite cheap for an eyeshadow. Worth trying, don't you think? Oh, and this shadow is on my holy grail watchlist!
ConsThere weren't many downsides, but... As mentioned above, there's quite a bit of fallout. Even though they say it's been improved, I feel like the shadow container might start rattling soon. It doesn't seem to have great staying power! Of course, my eyes aren't oil-free, but they're not particularly oily either.
TipHere's a pro tip! Using your fingers works better than a brush. I recommend applying it to the inner corner, under the eyes, and as a point at the outer corner (for those who like a pink under-eye look). I'd recommend this to anyone trying pink eyeshadow for the first time! Also, the color swatch on the wrist came out more accurate.
