At first, it feels moisturizing, and then it becomes smooth without any stickiness. It keeps my skin hydrated, preventing any dryness or cracking.
ConsThe amount is very small... Also, it's not a fine mist spray, which is disappointing.

I didn't want to irritate my skin further but wasn't sure what to apply. Then I found an unopened mist and started spraying it constantly. Fortunately, the hydration doesn't evaporate quickly and has a bouncy(?) feel. It's also super gentle, so luckily my blemishes didn't worsen and actually calmed down. I also love that it's fragrance-free, and the size isn't too big, making it convenient to carry around.
ConsIt doesn't feel lightweight. After spraying, it's like there's a film on your skin? That was perfect for me, but if you dislike feeling smothered, you might find it a bit heavy.

So I bought it, and it's indeed more hydrating! Plus, the gentle ingredients make me feel more at ease using this mist compared to other products.
ConsIt's a shame the volume is so small. We desperately need a larger size option!

Here's why: 1. Phyto Aqua Facial Mist - I use it once after cleansing, once before sunscreen, and whenever my makeup needs refreshing. It's so gentle and amazing! When sprayed over makeup, it helps soothe any dead skin cells! 2. CNP Laboratory Propolis Mist
ConsThe nozzle is really... disappointing. While the product itself is fantastic, the spray seems to come out thicker than a typical mister. I'm always on edge when using it... It's a bit stressful!
TipIf you spray it frequently starting right after cleansing and let it absorb, your makeup will apply beautifully. Remember to spray from a distance and adjust the amount carefully!

It's a safe choice for everyday use.
ConsI can't really think of any specific downsides... Well, maybe the size is a bit small?

The hydration, refreshing feel, and soothing effects are outstanding. I've tried countless mists from thermal spring waters to drugstore brands, high-end options, and even dermatologist-recommended ones - this easily ranks in my top 5. It's hard to find a mist this good for dehydrated and sensitive skin. There's zero irritation, and it feels cool and refreshing without alcohol, aloe, peppermint, or carbonation. It's like giving your skin a big drink of water. Unlike other thermal water mists that just sit on top of your skin, this one hydrates deeply. While other soothing mists can actually irritate with excessive use of mint or alcohol for an artificial cooling effect, the Phyto Aqua Mist is like stepping into an air-conditioned room on a hot summer day and sipping an iced Americano - it calms redness and heat without any irritation, especially great in summer.
ConsWhile it hydrates and soothes, it lacks long-lasting moisturizing power. It might not be enough under a heater in late fall or winter. The lack of moisturizing effect means it doesn't last long on the skin. As a result, you end up using it frequently and it runs out quickly. In my case, I went through a bottle every 3-4 weeks, not even lasting a month. At 20,000 won for 100ml, it's on the pricier side for a mist. It runs out faster than toner, leading to frequent repurchases, emptying my wallet while my face stays misted but my eyes fill with tears. The spray power is also disappointingly weak - it's more like a squirt bottle, practically slapping your face. Despite the higher price point, the mist container and nozzle are made of thin, light, and soft plastic. I worry it might break if bumped while carrying it around. The container material might be the reason for the weak spray power.
TipLooking at the ingredients, it's not much different from a toner or skin. It seems they've just removed the thickening agent to market it as a mist. The Phyto Aqua line has good ingredients, is gentle, and hydrating, but the mist, toner, and essence have very similar formulations. From an ingredient and functional perspective, there's not much difference between the mist, toner, and skin - they've just removed the thickening agent to create another product in the line for profit. This is a deep-rooted tactic in Korean cosmetics: keeping the main ingredients the same and only slightly altering minor ingredients to expand the basic skincare steps, or changing the viscosity to create different products like first essence, ampoule, fluid, sleeping pack, etc. It's just to increase profits by diversifying basic steps. We've been conditioned to accept this as normal, but in other countries, skincare usually just consists of toner, emulsion, and cream. In reality, doing the 7-skin method with one or two toners isn't much different from using multiple products in a line. Especially for products like Phyto Aqua where the main base ingredient is bamboo sap across the entire line, using multiple products or just layering one toner seven times is conceptually the same! Some might argue there's a difference in moisturizing power, but that's just due to the presence of glycerin and thickening agents improving application - there's no difference in absorption or efficacy.

When using it, it feels as comfortable as water on the skin. There's absolutely no burning sensation or itching.
ConsSimilarly, there aren't any standout positive features. The spray mechanism is disappointing. Instead of a fine mist, it comes out in spurts.

With the recent heatwave, I've been washing my face more often, and applying just this after cleansing feels pretty good.
ConsThe mist spray is a bit harsh. It tends to concentrate in one area, causing me to use more product than necessary. Given that it's not particularly cheap, that's a bit disappointing.
TipIt works well as a toner replacement. When I'm feeling lazy, I just use this and an essence. For a more thorough routine, I'll cleanse, use a different toner, then apply this followed by an essence or hydrating cream to finish.

It's moisturizing and suits my skin well. The packaging is simple and pretty.
ConsThe price is a bit low compared to the volume. Other than that, nothing particularly negative.
TipYou can simply spray it on your face, but it's also good to spray it on a cotton pad a few times and wipe your face with it.
